Anyone ever went with a child on soy milk?? Do they have soy milk available anywhere there? My dd is on soy milk because she has reactions to cow's milk she gets watery bms and rash if she gets too much. Cheese does it too but not as bad it takes quite a bit of cheese in her diet to cause the problems.
I have to carry soy milk with me everywhere.
I usually carry it in the bottles I used with my breastpump and I can take 4 4oz bottles of it in one of these. She used to drink cows milk on rare occasions where we had to resort to it but now she will not drink it at all she doesn't like the taste.
I'm really not looking forward to dragging soy milk in coolers. I guess I will look for smaller containers of aseptic(kind on the shelf that don't need to be refrigeratered until opened)packaging. I have not seen small packages and do not know if she would drink it warm anyway she usually doesn't like to finish her milk if it sits for 10 minutes or what not. She will not drink soda usually but will drink lemonade and diluted juices so I guess those can replace a few of the liquids. One other thing is she will not drink water which I know will be important to keep hydrated. I will start working now with highly diluted juice and work up to all water. She will drink water out of my spouted bottle though so might be an option too.
