Child care at DLR?

IS there a service or company to provide child care in the area?

Husband and I are thinking of running one of the races together and hoping to take the kids down for the experience! But need to hire someone to watch the little ones while we are racing.

Any suggestions?

Not to be sarcastic, but bring a sitter/nanny with you. This is probably your best bet. My son did this for a family friend of his. It was pretty easy to talk him into it.

I have never used it, but have seen children having fun there as we walked past the Pinocchio's workshop at GCH. Call to see if you can use their services.

They are only open 5pm-Midnight. The race is in the AM.

Fullerton Child Care is one of the options in the area. It isn't cheap. I believe my brother paid about $28 an hour. I think it was $20 base, and added on per child.

Call Guest Services. They should have a list of available services.

I took siblings (I was much older, my sibs are about 8-12 years older than my kids) to watch mine.

Thanks- was thinking I could talk my little sister into coming. Or my mom.

WDW has a couple of "godmother" services who come to your rooms and sit kids, so I was thinking DL might have something similar. I'll check into Fullerton to get an idea. Thank you!

Sitters Unlimited is in the area also. I have not used them but did talk to them about price and it was not too bad.

With the early hour of the race, a sitter may not be available at that hour.
