Chicks and Roosters...part 2

Good morning!

I saw Monsters Vs. Aliens with my neice. It was in 2d where I saw it too. It wasn't my favorite but it was all right. I laughed in some spots.

Joanne, I understand about how desk position effects how much time you spend on here! The owners are looking at other offices and I can't help but hope that if we move I'll get a slightly better spot!

I think a memo to the boss is in order here. Please put me in the back corner so no one can read my computer screen as they walk by.

Good Morning Ladies.

I'm heading to Sam's Club today to buy all the goodies for Kendall's birthday party tomorrow. Junk food in bulk is just what I need. :rotfl:

Good morning! It's finally Friday!

I've been waiting for Friday since. . . well Monday! No big plans this weekend. That's a good thing. Daisy has class but other than that I'm going to plant some veggies and probably hit Target. It's been a while since I've had a Target fix!

Good Morning.

Kendall's birthday was Saturday (my baby is 13 ). We had a luau party for her in the backyard. She invited 40 kids of which 28 showed up. It was a very nice and manageable crowd and all the kids were very well behaved. Of course we had way too much food so now we have lots of leftovers to eat. When I get my pictures uploaded I'll post a few pictures.

Today I've got to play catch up on the laundry. :laundy: I neglected it for two days and I'll be paying for that today.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY KENDALL!!!

That party sounds like fun! Looking forward to seeing the pictures! :cool1:

The weather has been so beautiful I haven't been on the computer much.
we went to the beach yesterday. It looked like a day in August it was so crowded. I think it will be nice the whole week which feels good after a the winter. :)

It really stinks, doesn't it? If I had one of the cubicles then I could really cheat. :rotfl:

Happy Birthday Kendall!

It sounds like a nice size group for a party. I'm sure she loved it.

I actually accomplished a lot this weekend and feel good about it.

I managed to get my veggie garden planted. I'm not sure if anything will survive but I'm hoping to at least get a few tomatoes out of the deal. I bought one tomato plant that is already well established. I cheated.

I cleaned out my chest of drawers and got rid of old t-shirts and pajamas. I have a pile of clothes that I need to find a place for but my room is a little more functional.

Good morning ladies. :wave2:

My niece is getting married in three weeks and I offered to make succors for her to put in the gift bags for the out of town guests. White and dark chocolate in the shape of fleur de lis (which is very New Orleans). I ran out of the little succor sticks yesterday so I'm going to Michael's this morning so I can finish. I have to make 180 of them and at this point I just want to be finished.

Susan my dad has always had tomato plants as long as I can remember. He likes to do a vegatable every year. I've never tried my hand at veggies, just flowers. :flower3:

Good morning.

It's already been one of those weeks. Argh.

Are you using the little plastic molds Tricia? Those take a lot of patience.

One of my corn plants has disappeared. I'm not sure who to blame. Birds, rabbits, and gophers are all on my suspect list.

Yep, using those little plastic molds. I have three of them but with only four succors on each one. I finally finished yesterday but all in all it took me about six hours to make the succors, put them in those clear plastic bags and tie a cute little bow on it. The worst part of the whole thing was while trying to unmold them some would crack and I'd have to remelt that chocolate and do it all over again. :sad2:

So, good morning ladies and Happy Thursday.

Good morning!

Sounds like a chore. It was nice of you to do that Tricia.

Tonight is the big farmers market here in town. We (my office) is having a booth for the first time. I'm dreading it a little because it's going to be cold and I'm not terribly excited about lugging brochures around.

Susan I thought a farmers market was where they sell produce. :confused3 Would you like to buy some apples then book a cruise. Hey what ever works. So how did ya'll do?

Joanne where art thou?

Happy Friday Ladies!!!

Good morning!

The Farmers Market here in town is a huge weekly event. In addition to the produce, local restaurants have food booths, local business can sell their stuff and there are information booths. The nice thing is that it's mostly local stuff.

Ok, so I finally got the pictures uploaded from Kendall's party. I sat down this morning to do it and the darn camera battery needed to be recharged. Here are just a few from the luau.

This one is of my family before everyone got here.

Kendall and a few of her friends.

I had so much food and don't you know that the kids hardly ate. I really think it's because the girls didn't want to eat in front of the boys. After the party a few girls slept over and as soon as the last of the kids left they were all starving. Where's the pizza? First words out of their mouths. The only thing that everyone ate was the fruit kabobs I made.

Tricia, can you come throw my next party? Wow! It looks like you had a good time. Your kids are beautiful!

How was your weekend?

Mine was busier than I planned. I helped set up a book fair at my mom's school and then of course Daisy had school. Only 2 more classes! We have to learn a trick to graduate though.

Yesterday my dad and I went to see Wolverine which I really liked. Of course I enjoy sepnding two hours with Hugh Jackman.

Only Tuesday? I wish every day were Saturday.

Good morning by the way!

I guess it's now officially now afternoon her but still morning by you ...........so good morning Susan.

I got a haircut this morning. That always makes me feel good. Then I went to Kendall's school to sort through all the fundraising items that just came in. Now we get the joy of delivering all the stuff and collecting the money. Fun times for sure.
