Good morning ladies.

So I was pretty much a couch potato yesterday. I watched the Olympics on and off all day. I love the fact that two stations are carrying it. I was flipping from NBC to MSNBC. I got to see Weight Lifting, Badminton, Water Polo, Swimming, Gymnastics, Dressage, Cycling, Traps (skeet shooting) oh and Archery. I'm sure a lot more but that's all that comes to mind at the moment.

Did you all see that swimming relay last night! OMG! I was screaming at the TV. Swimming is my fave event because I used to be a competitive swimmer (a looooonnnnnggggg time ago). I'm with you Tricia, I pretty much watched the Olympics all weekend and didn't get much else done. I did get to see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. I did leave the house a few times.

I'd probably rent the first one if I were you. It establishes the characters a little more and explains the pants. The sequel jumps right in. Word of warning about the 2nd movie, there is a pregnancy scare for one of the characters and a discussion about why so consider that before seeing it with your girls.

I'm exhausted from all the stress over watching the Olympics though! It's wearing me out! You'd think I was competing.

I can't even imagine the stress they are going through. Can you imagine being Michael Phelps right now? I did some errands today so I missed all of the daytime coverage. I'll be flipping between that and Big Brother tonight.

Susan - yes, by Monday I was already asking.. what day is it now? DH was gone all weekend and we were working on pottie training, so it was a looooooong weekend. I've listened to a lot of "I'm a hottie for my Pottie" songs.

I'm watching the olympics at the gym, so saw some weight lifting but not much else.

I'm reading the new Stephenie Meyer vampire book. Yes, I know it's for tweens.. but I like it anyway.

Fab! I love those books! I finished Breaking Dawn on Saturday. Is it bad to have a crush on a fictional vampire?

Oh, I don't think DH realizes the whole reason I read that first book was b/c of my crush on that fictional vampire.

I think their is a thread on the CB about those books. I haven't read them yet, I might just have to check the first one out at the Library. I'm sure they have a waiting list for it.

Just ready for a couple days off. I am going to a wedding on Saturday so that should be fun. I don't know what any of my other plans are but they seem to find me.

I got my copy for maybe $13 at the grocery store, so you might not want to wait.

Personally, my big plans for the weekend involve allowing DH the pleasure and privilege of entertaining both kids.

I missed Big Brother last night but will watch online when the kids go to school. I sure hope it was Libra that got voted out of the house. I guess I'll soon find out.

Did you get to see Big Brother yet Tricia? They sure do like to yell a lot this year. I'm really annoyed with Michelle and Jerry right now. I don't like the way they treated Dan.

Dan is my favorite player right now. In the beginning I loved Jerry and really disliked Renny. The tables have turned because I'm really liking Renny and Jerry not so much anymore. I'm so happy that Libra was the one to go. She really got on my nerves. I sound like I really know these people.
