Good Sunday Morning.

It's been raining here since about 7 AM. Nothing too hard but a steady rain. I think we are just starting to get the outside bands of what's left of Tropical Storm Fay.

Well we dodged another one from T.S. Fay. She sort of fizzled out on here way here. We're still expecting rain today but nothing like what she did in Florida. Hopefully tomorrow we'll dry out some.

So how was the weekend? I'm going to miss watching the Olympics every night. I missed Big Brother because I wanted to see the closing ceremonies but I'll catch up later today.

I'll miss the Olympics too even though I didn't see as much as I normally do.
I missed quite a few episodes of Big Brother. I did catch it last night. Very strange?

I watched Big Brother and taped the closing ceremonies. I watched this morning. I'm going to miss them but I'm kind of ready for them to be over. I've got a busy week and don't have time to watch. Speaking of Big Brother, Dan is an idiot for making a deal like that.

He's my favorite too but I'm worried. The best thing that could happen is if he wins Veto and takes Memphis off. That way, he fulfills his "deal" and still stays true to his alliance with Memphis.

I am a huge Target junkie .. they really know how to do the displays and the $4.99 stuff.. I walk in expecting to buy Kleenex, and I walk out with a cart full of stuff.

Kailey is watching a NOVA video about dogs... my dog-free time is clearly limited.

Well it's Tuesday. That's about it. I'm waiting for my coffee to kick in because I don't feel fully awake yet.

Good morning all

Fab, I never had a dog but DH did. When the kids were younger they asked for one. But the house was small and we're all out during the day. I said when they reach middle school and get home at 3 that would be a better time.
Wouldn't you know it my younger DD remembered that and as soon as she started middle school she reminded me of what I said 6 years ago.

We have a lab/chow mix from the shelter. He is a good dog and SO attached to my DH!!

Good morning.

Dogs are great. I can't imagine not having one. My dad comes over most mornings to pick up my dog and take her back to his house. His dog usually comes with him and she picks a toy out of her toybox to take back with her (we keep refilling it from her toybox at home). I had a brand new toy for her that I stuffed into the box. Sure enough, she found that one right away and went home with a brand new prize! She's so funny and smart.

Well Fay has left the building. Today was a beautiful and sunny day. Now we are starting to worry about Hurricane Gustave.

Good morning.

Well I've been obsessing and constantly watching the weather channel about Gustav. I think during the night he took a little jog to the west and now New Orleans isn't supposed to get the eye. Good news there. I really don't think we had handle that right now. At least I can't. Still too many memories are fresh from Katrina and with tomorrow being the anniversary and all. I need to think happy thoughts. OK ladies tell me something funny.

Good morning. Did ya'll all see Big Brother last night? I'm not going to give anything away just in case someone missed it but I loved the show last night. It couldn't have happened at a better time. Go Dan!

Last night was the double elimination night. I won't tell you who left but two did go. You should try to watch it online when or if you get a chance. The show last night moved very fast, one elimination, then competition for head of household, veto game and cermony then final elimination.
