I bought a new photo printer b/c mine isn't working very well. What I didn't take into account is that Kodak photo paper is fairly worthless and my old photo printer works just fine. What do you think the chance of me admitting this to my husband?

So now you have two photo printers and a bunch of crappy paper.

My husband is in the dark about most things I do.
To wit: Last fall I lost my camera. I finally broke down and bought a new one around February. But I didn't tell DH. I use it when I need it and then stash it in my lingerie drawer. What, don't all people keep their cameras in their lingerie drawers? Anywho, he's been telling me for a couple of weeks to go buy a new camera since vacay is coming up. Yeah. So I think sometime this week the "new" camera will make a casual appearance. Along with the box and ephemera that accompanies a new gadget. (those are stashed in my craft room).

Arkmom - I just seriously coughed I laughed so hard about the camera stashed in the underwear drawer.

I've posted the top half of my kids' heads, in an attempt to force photobucket to work.

I will obviously remove shortly, but you get the general idea.

It's hot and humid and I'm cranky. I don't take well to these days.

It's a busy day here at the office after a busy weekend. I'm ready for a day off.

Muffycat - I know.. sometimes I want to call Madeleine by my 7 year old's name, because it's just too difficult to accept all this growing up behavior. Move south - it's all airconditioned anyway!

Susan - well, I do the same thing with IL's sometimes.. but part of that is that it really irritates me that they spend so much money on my SIL b/c she never seems to have any and never knows where her money goes, so I don't feel like helping them justify doing this by looking like we fritter our money away too. Did that make sense?

Tricia - sorry I missed your coffee. We were out shopping for summer clothing today. I'm always a bit behind the clothing dateline.

I'm going to WDW in a week. I'm dreading the heat and crowds. Anybody here ever gone in June?

I didn't have any internet service yesterday? I'm not sure why and I even called the help desk for our provider and they couldn't help me and didn't really know what the problem was. They scheduled a tech help guy to come out this morning. Last night out of the blue I had internet again. So now I need to play catch up.

In a week? Have you started packing yet? Don't listen to Joanne, put things in the suit case now not the day before you leave. I've been in June before and I'll be there again next June. Yes, it's hot and crowded but hey you're in DISNEY! Lori goes in a couple of weeks too.

That's great! Where are you staying?
We used to go in August. Those spray mist fans helped alot. They sell at WDW for $18.00. I bought mine at CVS for $8.00.
If the kids can stay awake longer the Evening Magic Hours are good because you're not walking in the sun.
We took alot of air-conditioned breaks on attractions we normally wouldn't see.

Tricia - you are too funny re packing!! I packed some stuff for Madeleine and am looking at packing lists on the Dis. I'm not so afraid of forgetting to pack things I have, as I am afraid of realizing I don't have certain things to pack. Shoes are the hardest, with kids.

Susan - let me know when you are going .. our only planned trip (with points for hotel, so at DTD Hilton - yay) is in a week. But I always hope there are more coming. Are you thinking of the October cruise in fall of '09?

Muffycat - I'll try CVS re the fans. Someone suggested the dollar store and I ended up with $30 of other stuff, but no fans/ The hours are later than I'm used to - Kailey the 7 year old will do great.. I'll have to figure out when we're getting up in the mornings, I guess.

I saw that Lori goes in a couple of weeks - I was so bummed to see we won't cross paths (I'm 18th - 23rd). Maybe the next trip!
