The big news is that I was able to drive myself today! It's so nice to have that freedom back.

As for the worries you have with your daughter I don't have any practical experience raising teenagers, but I can remember that my parents would let me go with friends as long as they knew them. They trusted my friends for the most part but there were a few people I couldn't ride with.

So chicks what's shakin' today? I need to call the Dr. because Kendall has pink eye. I tried the over the counter drops but that's not working. So a trip to his office seems to be in order today.

I just have a bazillion things to do today.
I had to write two Father's Day commercials for a jewelry store.--check
Then I had to work on some games for my niece's sleep over tonight--I'm the go-go idea girl in the family.--check
Then I have to work on some stuff for Will's birthday tomorrow.
And I have to figure out what to do about his computer--he fried it last night.
And then I have to go to iTunes and buy him some songs and burn him a cd--he's into Phil Collins right now-- . He's also into some pretty heavy alt rock stuff. Quite a contrast.
And I have to do all this before 10 a.m.
Then I have to get out of here and do the shopping, decorating, and cooking for DN's party and shop for Will's party.

I hope Kendall is feeling better quick! I used to think you could get pink eye just by looking at someone who had it.

Kendall is much better now thanks to the $45.00 eye drops. Her eyes aren't even pink anymore and no gunk coming out of them.

So what's up today? I'll be heading to the ball park this afternoon to sweat my patootie off.

Good morning chicks. Guess what? Go on guess. I got a PM from FAB. I posted the link to our thread so we may have a very special visitor real soon.

Joanne yes the drops were worth every penny. After one day her eyes were clear. She still has to finish out the week on them and so far so good that no one else in the family got it.

Good morning!

Hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was dull. I wasn't feeling the best since I have some chest congestion and a cough. I never made it to Target because my mother didn't want to go and waste gas (I don't think a trip to Target is ever a waste but I wasn't feeling well enough to push the issue ). While I can drive, it's hard to push a shopping cart! I'm good going straight but I can't turn.

Happy Tuesday ladies.

I actually woke up a few minutes before the alarm today. It's funny how your body knows when you need to get up. I'm taking Kelsie to the Dr. this morning to get the first of three shots. I know I'll be spelling the name wrong but it's Gardisyl??????? The shot for Cervical Cancer. Kendall got the first one last week when I took her for pink eye. I want them close together so they can get the next one in two months at the same time. I already made that appointment and we just made it before school starts back up. What a way to end the summer!

The coffee's hot so get up and let's share a cup. I'm sure Joanne probably had a pot by herself already.

Tricia, my older DD, Valerie is taking those shots. She goes for her last one on Thursday. I've postponed this one for 3 weeks with her lacrosse schedule.
The dermotologist has been put of to 2 months!
My younger one, Danielle is 14. I'm not sure if I'll start hers yet.
You are up early with no school!

Susan, I hope you get Target soon. America's favorite store!

I go back to the Dr. this afternoon. I think I'm going to get a new cast because this one is kinda loose. I'm trying to decide on a color, I'm tired of the whiteish color.

Kelsie got a big shock today. She went in for one shot and came out with three. She was due two others so while we were there I said "let her have it". She was not amused. Joanne Kendall who is 12 also got her first of the Gardisil last week. My Dr. said you can start as young as 10.

Happy Hump Day!

Kendall's cheer practice started yesterday. This will keep us busy through the summer. She came home so excited because all of her practice uniforms came in as well as her shoes.

<------ That's her on top. Yes, she's a flyer because she is such a little thing.

Today's the big day for Kelsie. I'm taking her to get her Driver's License. I stopped at the insurance agency yesterday to add her to our policy. Since she doesn't have her own car it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be money wise. Oh, it's still a lot just not as bad.
