I was trying to give my mom a good day when I fell UP the stairs and broke both bones in my arm. Good times.

Sorry I missed my morning greeting. Good afternoon at this point. Looks like I'll need surgery on the arm and that should happen next Wed (21st). I'm now trying to learn to type one handed. Now if I could just figure out how to hook my bra. . .

Thanks for caring! I love you guys! Yes, I'm in pain. I am pretty pain tolerant but I had no idea how much this would hurt. I've never broken a bone before so now I get it. It's better everyday though and I'm sleeping better so things are looking up. I'm going to try and go back to work tomorrow and work through next Tue. I'll take Wed off for the surgery and the rest of that week, plus we have Memorial day off. Hopefully that will be enough time. After Wed it's at least 6 weeks in the cast and then another surgery to remove the pins. I'm looking at a long summer.

Babble away Susan. I didn't realize you would be in a cast for so long. Was it your right arm or left? By the end of this your are going to be a wiz at doing things with one hand. Keep us posted on your progress.

if you ever need help on learning how to do things one handed give me holler.
I broke my left arm 3 times as a kid amd learned to do everything with just my right hand- and still do.

I also broke 3 fingers on my left hand in 2005 and had 7 pins put in
I managed to get that summer off because I couldn't commute or drive.

It's so nice to see I've been missed. Group hug ladies. I wasn't around this morning because it was raining again. I had to take the kids to school so that messed up my DISing. After that I had an appointment to get the girls squished. Mammograms are so much fun aren't they?

Tonight Kendall has her end of the year Sixth Grade Dance. How cute is that? New dress, new shoes, but I draw the line at getting her hair done. It's 6th grade for crying out loud. Some of her friends are doing that. What will they have to look forward to when they get older if they do all that now? I'll post a picture over the weekend. Oh, my little girl is growing up.

Have a good weekend ladies. Susan I hope the pain isn't too bad.
