OMG! OMG! OMG!
Y'all will never guess what just happened!
I went over to my parents' house like I said I was so I could see my niece and nephew's reactions to hearing that they were going to WDW. One thing led to another. I'm going. Yep. Don't know how that happened.
Well, yes I do. My parents and grandmother have always wanted to go. I said, we should all go--despite the brother-in-law issue. Parents and grandmother said "Let's go!". So now we've planned a trip concurrent with Sister's trip. We're not saying we're going with her family cause of the husband thing, but we're going to see if we can mend fences. So now, me, Will, my parents and my grandmother are going July 5-12. Driving cause my mom won't fly. Of course, as per usual, DH won't go. But that's Ok.
OMG! I'm going to WDW! Oh. And the cruise too. Geez. I don't even have a job right now--what am I thinking???

We lost power during the night. Another front moved through with lots of rain. Kendall comes and wakes me up to tell me the power went out. She sleeps with her TV on and couldn't sleep without it. The good thing is that the kids are off of school today so I didn't have to get up at 5:00 this morning.

Well, when it first came up--the idea of all of us going, I knew immediately that I was going to make it happen. That was truely a magical moment. My grandmother has never been. She took her first major trip ever last year at 76 when she went to Hawaii with friends. She's up for it. My mother and father took my sister and me when we were kids. Of course, she's one of those people who thinks the MK is WDW. I'm actually more concerned about not losing patience with her than I am my BIL. And, yes, I recall not too long ago remarking, after reading about your trip plans, that I could never do a trip with my family. I'm thinking of this as a bonus trip. It won't be a typical Lori and Will trip. It will be more like a trip where I get to show my family MY WORLD.

That stinks! Good thing there's no school! Did the power come back? A day out of school with no power would not be good!
We were promised 8-12" of snow overnight. We got nothing. We were robbed. Same thing happened this past Tuesday. All the surrounding towns got snow and closed their schools. I am convinced that we have a plexiglass shield over our town.

Thanks for the kind wishes for Oreo. She seems to be more like herself this morning even though she is keeping that eye closed tight. The cone is kind of a pain but she's doing well. It was a rough night because I was so aware of her movements but it's Friday so I'll make it.

Happy Saturday.

Colin has baseball evaluations today. I guess for all of you still in the snow baseball must start a bit later.

We borrowed the Star Wars Trilogy from my SIL. Last night we watched the original and today it's on to The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Tomorrow we'll tackle The Phantom Menace. I haven't seen any of these movies except the original when I was in High School. I really couldn't get into it but Colin wanted to watch so were are.

Yeah! It's Saturday! I really need to get out of my chair and get some stuff done. I've got to go to Costco at some point and I really need to get to the grocry store as I'm down to Honey Nut Cheerios, milk and frozen cookie dough. Of course I could live for a few days on that but I might crave protein at some point.

I *might* actually have 4 copies of each of the original trilogy. I *might* have dressed up as a Jedi for halloween in the not terribly distant past. I *might* have a very fancy lightsaber displayed in my living room.
