Chicks and Roosters...part 2

Good morning!

Oh Arkie, I remember those tests. I let my preliminary credential expire so I'll have to re-take them if I ever decide to go back. I don't think I will though so I'm not worried yet! Good luck though! I'm sure you'll do great.

Michelle, wecome back! I'm glad you were able to enjoy the short time you had! I can't wait to hear more.

Welcome back Michelle! Can't wait to hear all the details of your trip!

Hi everyone. Oh,,,,tests,,,what a nightmare. I had test anxiety...Had to eat lots of M&M's to get the blood sugar up.

So you're saying I should eat M&M's. Lots of M&M's. Lots of Peanut M&M's. I'll make sure and do that.

That's exactly what I thought. I didn't think I'd ever want to go back. And now here I am. Back where I started. If only I hadn't let that license expire!

Don't say that! I don't want to go back to teaching! I'm going to win the lottery and not have to work. ;)

Hey again! Roman had a fabulous first trip! He was a good baby that slept a lot :) hahahaha!!!

Weather was AWESOME and FABULOUS! Lines were non existant! It's a GREAT time to go!

Good morning all :hippie:

Glad you enjoyed your trip Michelle! It did seem like you just left.

I'm so excited! My sister emailed yesterday (she just lives across town, yet we email way more than we call--weird?), and wanted me to help her price a vacation. She wanted to go to San Antonio. I'll never understand why. Anyway. She told me she wanted to spend $2500 for the 4 of them (her, DH, DS15 and DD10) for 5 or 6 days. I told her I'd get right on it. What's the first place I check? Well, Disney of course! I discovered that they could go for around $2000 (base). I called her and said "Guess What! You're going to Disney World!!!" "I am???" "Yes!!!!!!" So I gave her the total I came up with and she agreed that that's the thing to do! Her kids have never been--she's only been once when she and I were maybe 8 and 10. So she came over last night and I inducted her into my world. The Wonderful World of Disney! Now after all these years of hearing me go on and on, she can finally experience the magic! But I warned her, that she has to go through my Disney 101 class (and maybe the more advanced classes as well) to get the most out of her first time. So now, I get to plan a newbie trip! How fun is that!?!? :cloud9:

That's great Arkie! Planning is have the fun, and to get to do it for your sister must be awesome!

Michelle I can't wait to read your trip report

Are you going to go with her Arkie? You know, as a tour guide! I can offer my services as well.

I had to take my poor dog Oreo to the vet this morning after she hurt her eye sometime yesterday. Apparently it's a pretty major scratch and she now has to wear a cone and have drops put in every 4 hours. The vet said that if a human were to have a scratch that bad, we'd be in the hospital with a morphine drip, it's that painful. I feel so bad for her.

No. I can't go with her. First of all, I have the cruise planned. Second of all, I can't stand her husband. I can't even be in the same room with him. But I'm not thinking about him. I'm doing everything I can do make it magical for sis and the kids. I already put together an itinerary for them (TGM!). And right now I'm working on the big surprise announcement. I'm making personal WDW invitations for both kids. She's going to give them to each kid tonight (I told her I had to be there to see their reactions!) I'm searching online now for the perfect art to decorate each invitation. I'm thinking cool teen stuff for her DS and lots of princess and HSM stuff for her DD10. And lots of Pop photos for both. FUN FUN FUN!

Your poor puppy. He needs lots of lovin' today. Did you take a sick day?

No, I'm at work. My dad met me at the vets and brought her home after the appt. They got her in first thing this morning and I was only about 20 minutes late for work. My dad is on eye drop patrol until tonight. I'm more concerned about the cone. I think that Corie will make fun of her.

I think it's great what you are doing for your sister and her kids. They'll have a wonderful time!

Susan the same thing happened to Gracie a few months ago. She even had to stay overnight at the vets so they could put drops in her eyes throughtout the night. It took her about a week to get better. She also hated the cone but I made her wear it anyway. Feel better Oreo.

Arkie how exciting!!! The next best thing to planning a trip for yourself is planning one for your sister.

Oh nooo!! Susan, that's no fun for your dog!!

Second of all, I can't stand her husband. I can't even be in the same room with him

Arkie, I feel the same way about my sisters fiance..ughhh... for me, this guy is just a loser and a user :sad2: it's too bad she can't see it, but everyone around her does and even his own family won't talk to him :sad2:
