Susan, when you finshed organizing, can you come to my house and do the same?
I didn't even go to my prom. At the time the disco people took over the school and we rock people weren't fans of them so we went out on our own for night. Had a great time too!

Good morning!

I tend to be a bit of a clutter bug but I'm trying to change that. I had to clean out the guest room closet because I had some mold issues. I then put in a chest of drawers which hides some of the stuff that didn't have a good home. I bought baskets and then I'm doing some purging. It's probably going to take all year!

 

[Grumpy's Wife]

I always have an ongoing bag for Goodwill in my closet. I think that helps me get rid of stuff because it's going to someone who cloud use it.

So we are in the 20's this morning. By Friday well into the 70's again. Crazy weather!

Good morning! It's supposed to rain today. Of course I don't have my car which is where my rain coat and my umbrella hang out. I do have a jacket so I'll live.

Hi Susan was your car broke yesterday? This morning I was helping Kendall go over her notes for a test she had today. If I don't get on the computer first thing in the morning lots of days I won't get on at all.

Even though it's almost 60 outside right now my hands feel like ice. I've got a chill that I just can't shake. Maybe a nice hot cup of coffee would do the trick.

Any big weekend plans? I don't really have anything going on that I know of. I guess it will be a lazy kind of day. On the other hand when the kids are home they don't like to just sit around so we'll see what the weekend brings. They are saying we will be in the 70's today and through the weekend so it will feel very springlike over here.

No big plans for the weekend. I'm just glad it will be in the 30's.
I left this morning without wearing my hood for the first time in a long time.
I don't wear hats- just hoods.

Good morning.

Looking towards a wet weekend. It's a good excuse to stay home and relax. I had to run my parent's dog to the vet this morning because her whole face puffed up. She had some sort of allergic reaction and should be fine. They are keeping her at the vets for a few hours to make sure she's all right.

I wonder if she ate something or maybe a bug got to her. Glad to hear she'll be fine.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I actually had a more productive one than I thought. Saturday the girls and I ran a few errands and did a little shopping. We had lunch at Chili's,I just love the chicken enchilada soup there. I've tried to make that once or twice and it didn't come out so great. If either of you have a recipe for that I'd love to have it.
Yesterday we went to my mom's and had a fish fry.

Good morning! It was a good weekend but a quick one and full of movies. Friday night I watched Miss Petigrew Lives for a Day thanks to Netflix. It was a terribly sweet movie. I really liked it. On Saturday I went to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button which I thought was really good. Yesterday I saw Hotel for Dogs and sobbed through the last half and all the way home. Go figure! It was a cute movie, I'm just extremely sensitive to animal stories.

Well Susan you had me at two of the three movies you watched this weekend. My kids really want to see Hotel for Dogs and I've heard such great reviews for the Benjamin Button movie. You lost me on the Miss Petigrew movie. I don't think I've ever heard of that one.

Happy Tuesday I think. It's still a little early and I haven't had a whole cup of coffee yet. My mood might change.

Looks like the only reason I'd be watching is to see what everyone is wearing.

Well, this year I'm 2 for 5 on the Oscar nominated movies. I saw The Reader last night. Really beautiful movie but lots of nudity! I was a bit shocked.

One year I saw 4 out of the 5 and I think that's a record. I like to keep on top of movies but I go in spurts. It will calm down until May and then I'll probably see a movie a week.

I get a lot from Belk, Old Navy or J C Penney. I always see commercials for Kolh's although I don't know why because there is none anywhere near us. It will be a happy day for me when they open the doors. Last year I ordered Kendall's Christmas outfit online from Kohl's and was very pleased with it.
