Well, they must be doing that at the Tyson chicken factory. Son unloads trucks for them. All the chicken comes in packed in Tyson chicken boxes. There's no brining going on in the store.
I just went to a Chick Fil A for the first time this afternoon.
I had the chicken sandwich. It was good. It reminded me of the KFC Big Crunch sandwich.
I like In-N-Out, but it's a simple fast food hamburger. The big deal is that they use decent ingredients, pay their staff better than most fast food, and are reasonably affordable. It's a good burger at a good price. I've had better burgers, but I can go to any one and know exactly what I'm getting. Even at big franchise restaurants that's not always a given. I certainly don't think it's as good as many table-service burgers I've had, but it doesn't cost $12.
