Chick fil A chicken and biscuit with Hash browns

I could devour something like that for a once in a while cheat meal, but honestly the first thing I think of is all the carbs...ugh.

Every time we go to the mall ( about 45 minutes away) we eat lunch there. I always ask my dd where are we going to eat and her eyes light up, then in tandem we say Chic fil A!!! I have never had their breakfast. I don't know...there's something odd about having chicken for breakfast But everyone I know raves about it One of these days I'll be around one at breakfast time and give it a shot!!

I think the breakfast biscuits are better than the sandwiches for lunch/dinner.

But when we go there, I usually get a salad.

I have never had Chick fil A before. I keep hearing how life altering their food is, but have yet to experience it for myself. Maybe one day. CT is just not a hot bed for Chick fil A. I did hear that they were going to put a restaurant in one of the casino's, so maybe that will finally be my opportunity!

That is my go to travel breakfast, it's easy to eat and drive although I don't get hash browns. I love their nuggets too and I rarely eat fried food.

I tried it this past April in FL. I had the fries the year before. I wasn't impressed. My dh loves it though.

They are supposed to be opening one in Mohegan this fall sometime. I can't see myself making a special trip just to eat there though. Heck, I won't even make a special trip there for the kripsy kremes. Can't see me doing it for chicken if I won't do it for donuts!!

If we are in the area though or going to Mohegan, then we might hit it. Gosh, haven't been to Mohegan in a couple years though, we always end up at Foxwoods.

We go to both. We just go for the arcade for the kids as we don't gamble much anymore...heck we don't gamble anymore.

We were at Mohegan about a month ago and had Carlos bakery. No line was a bonus. It wasn't as bad as I had heard but we got canolis and this other pastry that starts with an S and I call it a sea shell since I was a kid. Now I don't need to go to NJ and wait in line.

I've never actually had a sandwich there, I get one of their salads and they are AMAZING for a "fast food" salad! The lemonade drink is also pretty outstanding. The one that's lemonade and their soft-serve ice cream, like a shake. And the warm chocolate cookies for dessert, YUMMY!! My husband got the "super food" side salad last time we were there, that's was CRAZY good!!

Wallingford, Enfield and Danbury have Chick fil A restaurants.
