Hey Chicagoland Scrappers --

where do you go "browse" for supplies besides the big stores? There was once a ton of smaller stores but have since closed. Just wondering.

Not sure where you live in CHicago....But Windy City Scrapper is a GREAT store to browse & even buy. It's on Clybourn just past the expressway.

I also like Thanks for the Memories in Lake Zurich, and Scrabooking Lodge in Elgin :)

The Scrap Shack in St. Charles and Memories & Beyond in Downers Grove/Woodridge (on 75th) are great stores too!!

You have my attention!!

I'll be in Chicago July 12 - 16 for the Pampered Chef convention.

I'm going early to do some sightseeing.

there is also Hannah's in Antioch as well.

(I love thanks for the memories in Lake zurich!!!)

I also go to "More Than Memories" on 20 E. Golf Road in Schaumburg. I like Hannahs, too.

"Now and Then" is a small store in Crystal Lake.

I keep going past "Thanks for the Memories" in Lake Zurich with never enough time to stop when I'm there.

I thought Scrapbooking Lodge in Elgin closed, or did it move?

Now & Then in Crystal lake is a pretty small store, nice to stop if you live here or if you're out this way....but don't drive here for it!

ok, I'll admit I haven't been to the lodge in months? did it close?

More than Memories in Schaumburg? is that the one off Barrington rd? I haven't been there in years...

Is the store in St. Charles good? I keep thinking i should take a little trip.

Scrapbook Lodge closed over a year ago.

Creative Scrapbooks (Barrington & Golf) closed as well

More than Memories (Roselle & Golf) is still there

I worked at both of those stores (MTM & CS)

Scrap Shack in St Charles (64 & Randall?, not far from the fairgrounds) is pretty nice. Just dont do like I did....call them from the parking lot because it looked like the store was gone. They are in a shared building, at the end of the hall. From outside it looks like there is nothing there.

I pretty much go to Archivers....either Downer Grove or Algonquin. They closed 'my' Archivers in Bloomingdale, so I have to go to the other ones.
