Yesterday, (after hearing all the jumpers freak out) DS and I went into the city on a W seek and find. Our day started good, REALLY good. Not a lot of time to type it out now but it started with seeing Kap

Then stuff just started happening...private visit on the 16 of the Trump tower, free pediride from Jack Daniels ,WGN Radio giving us the thumbs up and w sign, W flags all over the place and then our day ended in the most fantastic way, with the

Awesome photos! It sounds like you had a GREAT day! Let's bring home another W today!!!

Who makes you more nervous, Strop or Chapman? Strop is so wild.

This team....at this moment? All is right with the world. Also I guess they need seat fillers for more than just Award shows in L.A.~smh

Chapman. I have come to expect a little wildness from Strop. Chapman is supposed to be our saviour. When he's good, he's very good. Unfortunately when he's bad, he's VERY bad.

Strop because he is in earlier and usually gives up a few, bringing life back into our opponent when they have time to score. (now , that said, I am REALLY hoping since it was hot and he warmed up for like, 3 innings THAT was the reason behind his uh-oh performance) I think Chap was throwing some "test the waters pitches" last night with the lead we had, they were getting questionable strike zone, from which I *hope* they have now learned what to tweak, not use etc. (altho Willy got slapped on the wrist for being a rookie questioning the Ump, but he has the right to do so)He hadn't pitched for a while, and now not until tomorrow so good opportunity actually to see how some things other than a fb, which CAN be hit are doing. However, once the gap closed Chaps normal fb strikes were thrown. Now putting Chap into a dirty inning? On a close game? Pick your poison between the 2 then. Dodgers didn't waste Jansen yesterday so they have him for both Sat /Sun for maybe 3 on top of Kershaw , Hill. Both teams will use every pitcher they have(save whoever would go in the WS Tues) if this goes to Sunday, before getting to closers. Wrigley HAS to be rocking SOLID thru the entire game. No let up. You saw how laid back Dodger Stadium was (meaning unless the team did something they were quiet) we need to be SAVAGELY LOUD SETTING THE TONE (pun intended)throughout. We took 2 at their field, they are saying the exact same thing right now, and relaxed figuring Kershaw is a 99% chance game 3 for them. Our bats went cold after facing him and I guarantee Roberts hoping for a repeat of that exact scenario taking both games 6 and 7. Well, they got 1 lousy run last time they faced Kyle. Bring it. Oh and welcome to NOT 95 degree weather, lol.

I am just taking all this in right now....this beautiful , beautiful moment of the Cubs~

I think Dodgers fans were stunned into silence because they are usually pretty loud. I heard on one of the games that Dodgers Stadium has football-like prompts to get the crowd going like "GET LOUD!" because the announcers said something like "The scoreboard is encouraging the fans to get loud!" or something like that. I think that was game 3. Wrigley doesn't do that. We have Gary Pressey (whom I love) play the organ. It's a different place and a different tradition. You just don't "get loud" over the organ playing "Charge!". I think that if the Cubs are doing well, people will be excited. If they don't do well ... people will be quieter. It's human nature. Plus, keeping up that level of excitement over 4 hours is exhausting!

If fans expect the players to give it their all for 4+ hours, it is the least they can do in return, lol. I saw the Cheer Loud on the Dodger jumbotrons...and other parks.Guess they need them. Cubs fans know the drill...they have seen the power of of momentum change by literally getting into the opponents heads. If ever there was a time to give it their all it's now. I worry that some of the big wigs who will be filling the seats due to their wallets may not be of the same mind set as general fans, KWIM? Dodgers going to steal bases , try to get errors , everything they can and then bring in the snail relievers to kill momentum. Crowd has to be heads up and keep our guys going. After all , isn't this what they WANT? Not a regular season game..ROCK WRIGLEY! I don't remember ANY Cubs player ever saying they wished the crowd had laid off, and Riz even said last night they need Wrigley to bring it..so they better.

If Adrian Gonzalez says we can't get louder, I guess we'll just have to try to prove him wrong.

Interesting. However I agree that Wrigley was not all that loud last Sunday when Kershaw pitched. Our players deserve to know the crowd is in it...hope they don't allow Kershaw a quiet stadium. OR Kershaw feeds off noise no matter who is doing it so Gonzales playing mind games lol. Pretty sure Kyle won't be giving Gonzales the pitch he saw game 2, tho so bonus if Gonzales gets shut down.

wanted to add, I guess Gonzales didn't hear us last year?

What game is Joe Buck watching tonight? Did he forget the Cubs were playing as well?

That song in the video is really old. Back from Jack Brickhouse days. I remember that from those days.
