:hippie: Hi everyone. Sorry to be kinda MIA, but Dewain has yet to fix my computer and it is infected with Spyware, making it very hard to do anything.

Did some BTS shopping and the Disney Store has a great deal on the backpacks if anyone is still waiting to get one. Lauren picked out a lunch bag too and it was just at $20 for both.

Who was it that was looking for the non-perforated spirals? The Target in New Lenox had a whole bunch of them yesterday. If you would like, I can pick some up and we can meet someplace this weekend.

That would be me. Thank you for the offer but unfortunately, we are going to be swamped from now until school starts. I just put the notebooks I have in his backpack and his teacher will have to deal with it.

Lots of last minute appointments before school starts. Tomorrow is the biggie as it's her back brace one, so we can see how that is going on. Then, we are also doing the HSM party -- on a very small scale. She has invited a friend over but we aren't sure she can come or not, DD is trying to find out today.

Good morning! :wave2:

I am so tired!!! We were all out late last night. I'm actually surprised the kids woke up when they did.

Happy news for me..................

I bought a new car last night!!!! :yay:
We need to go back to the dealership today though as all the porters were gone for the night (it was really late) and the car needs to get pimped!! :rotfl:

Well, I better run!! Lots to do today now. It already was going to be a busy day but now it's just going to be crazy busy!!!

So, are you kidding me or what??? Aren't you gonna say what you got?? C'mon lady, give up the goods. What set of wheels did you buy, or do I have to drive over and peek in your garage???

Hi Ho... we are celebrating Eric b'day for a week or so. Before I had kids I took the whole month of August to celebrate my birthday, but since Eric was my b'day present 14 years ago, I have had to share. So he gets a week to celebrate.. ( my birthday is August 26th)

So today I worked from home and we all went to Bennihana for lunch.. it is only $9 per person so that wasn't too bad. This am at 7:30 am he had football practice that was short only until 11. Then he has a scrimmage at 5.. parents at 5:45 - 6:30 to see our football heros ...:) then the football team parent meeting. Geoff had cross country this am at 6 am and Boy scout OA stuff tonight at 7:30 and DH has boy scout leader stuff.

So we are going to celebrate with his b'day dinner at Weber Grill on Sunday.

My dishwasher is still not working.. The repair guy came Monday, DH was here and told him that he had to order a part and it would be mid Sept before it was fixed??? WT? So i called the manufacturer today and they were going to over night the part, but then discovered that it was on back order until 9/6 or so. So they are going to replace the unit , maybe, they have to submit the paperwork to the replacment dept and get it approved. i am supposed to call back on Wednesday.. So I guess the kids just keep on washing and drying the dishes..

be back.. have to get a few more things done at work..

Ok I doing this a different way. My computer is being strange.

Eric

Bunchkin Yeh what Sam said what kind of car did you get? I too tired to drive over. I tried to get the last few things Alex needs for school and for our trip. Tried is the opportive word. This must be a conspiracy among the teachers A) to make the list confusing B) to try to get you to go to the most store and C) to get you to spend much

Sam & Hersey So inquiring minds want to know, huh?? :rotfl:
Actually I didn't mean to NOT mention what I bought, just an over site on my part. :)

I bought a brand new 2007 Chrysler Pacifica- Touring edition!!! Color: Inferno Red!!! :cool1: It's the six seater. And it's a 4 liter, 6 cylinder so lots of VROOOM VROOOM!!!!

Here's a picture of it: Click here!! Click on the Inferno Red color square to see it in the color I bought.

I have been doing a LOT of research on cars I was interested in. Test drove a bunch of them. And REALLY liked this one the best! The kids love it too!!! So does Tony!! And we are a Dodge/ Chrysler family.
Got it from the place we've been going to for 10 years now and got a great deal on it. Plus there was $4,000 in incentives on it too!!!!! :yay: :cool1:

It's so nice NOT driving that huge conversion van anymore!!! ::yes::
But the funny thing is.....the car takes up just as much space in the garage as the van did!!!!

We rented a Pacifica a couple years ago at WDW. It was a very nice ride. Of course, I'm also a big Dodge fan, so it's my kind of car. :) I liked it because it was a lot like the old station wagons. Lot's of room, yet still handled like a car.

Bought my last 4 cars new from Downers Grove Dodge.

Heya, peeps!!
Just wanted to pop in to say hi! :goodvibes
I miss you all.....

We miss you too! Don't be such a stranger!! :)

Good evening all!! Had a terrible, bad, bad, day today.:sad2: Got my van back. Drove 1/2 mile and the check engine light came back on. Got home, and walked around the back of it to go in the house, and noticed a big scrape and missing back-up sensor to the bumper. It wasn't there when I brought it in. Called the service station right away, and the dude says, "you'll have to make a police report". So, off to the police station I go with my timed-stamp receipt and a witness so they can't say I hit something on my way home, and file a report. Police officer went with me back to the service station to talk with the owner. Dude says they didn't tow my van last Monday, they just pushed it around the block with the tow truck. Dude says, "I can't say if that damage was there before we pushed it or not, noticed it when we put the van up". HELLO!!!!! It's illegal to push a vehicle. So the officer filed the report, and then off to the insurance agent I go. Then off to the body shop place for an estimate, back to the insurance because they are going to try to get the service station to pay up front. If they won't, then it will have to go through my insurance as vandalism.
So, now I will be out of a vehicle for repairs again, and it still needs to be checked about the CE light. :headache:
OK thanks for letting me vent.

Bunchkin, cool car. We were just talking about trading our van in before all this happened. Guess it will be a while now. We did go to the movie for popcorn:: and show. Shrek 3 was cute. Had therapy tonight for my ankle for the first time. Went well. Then went out hunting stuff for Kellie's party. I found HSM plates and napkins at Wal-Mart and HSM school folders for each of the girls, and bought some snacks. Then went over to Target and found HSM pencils and some neat Popcorn bags and picked up a bag of Twizzlers. Couldn't find any pompoms. But Kellie was excited by what I'd found. Also picked her up a HSM T-shirt to wear. I am as excited as she is. DS decided he was going to his friend's to watch Star Wars Episode 1. Didn't want to hang with a bunch of girls.

Hi Jedi. Good to see you. Hope everything is going well.

Ms. Grumpy, good luck with your classes this semester. Looks like you have quite a load. I wish I could speak/understand Spanish better myself. Would be really helpful at work.

Hersey, don't you love how the teachers wait til all the sales are over to tell you they want more supplies than what was originally on the list?

Slo, I am sure whatever outfit you picked will look great. Hope they give you a good pic and story and that it brings you lots of business. Glad to hear you weren't hit too hard by the storms. They looked awful for some over the line. I was thinking of you.

geffric, it's good for those boys to do those dishes. Builds character. :rotfl:

DMM, glad all is going well. Keep us updated. At least the weather is cooling off for you a bit.

Well, better run. I'm going to catch up on my shows I taped. For some reason (couldn't be the stress of today) I am not tired or ready for bed yet. I also got my 250 pix developed today from our trip to CA so I could get busy putting them in my album (which only has room for 200. HMMMM)
Nighty nite.

Bunchkin, good choice, if I do say so myself. You will like the Pacifica. Nice car, good ride, not too bad on gas! I love that color too! Great choice. Red...vrooom vrooom!! Congratulations and as my Dad always says whenever someone buys a new car...

MANY HAPPY MILES! :goodvibes
