Good evening all!! Had a terrible, bad, bad, day today.

Got my van back. Drove 1/2 mile and the check engine light came back on. Got home, and walked around the back of it to go in the house, and noticed a big scrape and missing back-up sensor to the bumper. It wasn't there when I brought it in. Called the service station right away, and the dude says, "you'll have to make a police report". So, off to the police station I go with my timed-stamp receipt and a witness so they can't say I hit something on my way home, and file a report. Police officer went with me back to the service station to talk with the owner. Dude says they didn't tow my van last Monday, they just pushed it around the block with the tow truck. Dude says, "I can't say if that damage was there before we pushed it or not, noticed it when we put the van up". HELLO!!!!! It's illegal to push a vehicle. So the officer filed the report, and then off to the insurance agent I go. Then off to the body shop place for an estimate, back to the insurance because they are going to try to get the service station to pay up front. If they won't, then it will have to go through my insurance as vandalism.
So, now I will be out of a vehicle for repairs again, and it still needs to be checked about the CE light.
OK thanks for letting me vent.
Bunchkin, cool car. We were just talking about trading our van in before all this happened. Guess it will be a while now. We did go to the movie for

and show. Shrek 3 was cute. Had therapy tonight for my ankle for the first time. Went well. Then went out hunting stuff for Kellie's party. I found HSM plates and napkins at Wal-Mart and HSM school folders for each of the girls, and bought some snacks. Then went over to Target and found HSM pencils and some neat Popcorn bags and picked up a bag of Twizzlers. Couldn't find any pompoms. But Kellie was excited by what I'd found. Also picked her up a HSM T-shirt to wear. I am as excited as she is. DS decided he was going to his friend's to watch Star Wars Episode 1. Didn't want to hang with a bunch of girls.
Hi Jedi. Good to see you. Hope everything is going well.
Ms. Grumpy, good luck with your classes this semester. Looks like you have quite a load. I wish I could speak/understand Spanish better myself. Would be really helpful at work.
Hersey, don't you love how the teachers wait til all the sales are over to tell you they want more supplies than what was originally on the list?
Slo, I am sure whatever outfit you picked will look great. Hope they give you a good pic and story and that it brings you lots of business. Glad to hear you weren't hit too hard by the storms. They looked awful for some over the line. I was thinking of you.
geffric, it's good for those boys to do those dishes. Builds character.
DMM, glad all is going well. Keep us updated. At least the weather is cooling off for you a bit.
Well, better run. I'm going to catch up on my shows I taped. For some reason (couldn't be the stress of today) I am not tired or ready for bed yet. I also got my 250 pix developed today from our trip to CA so I could get busy putting them in my album (which only has room for 200. HMMMM)
Nighty nite.
