DD won the YOAMD Lanyard/pin set from WDW. That's what the certified letter was all about. DRAT!!! Fun for her but was sure hoping for a DVC. Not the littlest bit greedy or anything.

Mac, I wish I was going along. Especially now that I have 2 feet again. Although the one isn't working so well yet. Waiting for physical therapy to begin.

DMM, did the doc think it was just from a charlie horse? Those are common. But please keep a close watch on it. If it's not getting better, go see him.

Bunchkin, Kellie was very excited. She loves pin trading at Disney. She has a birthday party to go to today, so if we go to Shrek, it will be tomorrow. We are having quite the Disney week with all the fun movies on this week. JumpIn is on tonight, and DD cracked me up asking if I would tape it for her for the beginning since she has ballet. She has the DVD!!! We've been listening to HSM2 here as well. I pretty much know I Can't Dance already.

slo, that customer sounds like a real interesting person. My BIL was with CIA. I was always trying to get info out of him. He was very good about keeping all the secrets. Would never tell us anything. Even to this day.

Hersey, I remember that changing rooms for the first time. Quite an adjustment. Having different teachers for all the classes was a change to get used to as well.

Well, better start my day. Need to shower. Have to do again. Big suprise.
DS is having a friend over to play. DD birthday friend's brother. We are trading kids. I was hoping they could swim, but it's looking like rain. I bought DS Lego Star Wars for the PC (since neither of my kids have hand held games), so they will probably be on the computer this afternoon instead. And I think I will get school supplies all labeled and pencils sharpened and all packed and ready to go. Next week will be nuts with them having tonsils out.

DMM Hope your leg is feeling better today. Are you still waiting for a doctor to call you back?

Doc called back yesterday and told me to monitor the pain and I just got off with the nurse about 5 minutes ago and she said it sounded like it was going away which was good. Doc noted it in my chart and wants to look at it on monday. It is feeling better though! Thanks!! The party on Friday sounds like fun!!

Doc thinks that it was RLS, but i really didn't think it was that. Who knows though! haha! This pregnancy is 100% different than when i was pregnant with Gabriel!!

Wanted to report back after watching the DVD that came with our HSM2 cd.

Sam It does show that there is one scene/song in the beginning of the movie where there are pompoms used for part of it. So those pompoms you want to buy would be cool.




It was a really neat DVD!!! Lots of behind the scenes making stuff!



Just called another Party City store and they have exactly what I was looking for!!! So the kids and I are off later to go get what they are holding for us!!!

Also need to go get nail polish for all the girls. We are doing nails during the movie. And need to hit the dollar store too.






Tiggerrn I hope Kellie has a great time at the party!!!
And I'm sure Kyle is going to love his new Star Wars game!!! I wonder if it's the same as the one we have for the Gamecube? I'm guessing it is!! LOTS of fun!!! Actually the kids had me playing it earlier!!!

Today was a busy day. We had a field trip at work. We went to Go Bananas, picture a Chuckie Cheese. I was "wrangling" 19, 3-5 year olds the entre morning. When I got off work I went to register for my fall classes at the university. I was able to get four of the five classes I had chosen. My classes begin this monday and I am not at all ready Let the headaches begin!

Evening all. Mechanic called and it is the fuel pump that went out on the van. ONLY $675 to repair it. So much for being proud of myself that we didn't overspend on vacation. I was just saying I didn't need to take any money from our tax refund to pay for vacation and wham.

Bunchkin, if we go to Shrek in the morning, I'll probably go to the one near me. We've been waking late. Wouldn't have enough time to get to Orland. 10AM is an early call for a movie for us lazy folks. Kellie was able to find 4/5 friends without plans for Friday night, so we are now hosting a little HSM2 party here. Nothing fancy. As you said, everything for party bags is sold out. I did look last night while I was out shopping and not one thing for parties left. Not sure if I feel like looking again tomorrow. I have PT tomorrow night for my ankle. I may go after that for a bit if I feel up to it.

DMM glad you followed up and are keeping a watch on that leg.

geffric, welcome back. Glad you didn't melt. to Eric. Doing anything fun?

Ms. Grumpy, if I had to take all those little ones to a Chuckie Cheese-like place, I'd be Grumpy too!!

Ugh!! They used to be really easy to replace. Just unbolt the old one and bolt on the new one. Then, some of the car companies got the brain storm to start installing them *inside* the fuel tank, so you sometimes have to pull the whole tank just to replace it! Fun, huh?!?

Wow! Looks like a lot of little girls are going to HSM parties on Fri! Should be fun. We re going to work on our cupcakes and goody bags tomorrow. DD absolutely can't wait! We got invited to a HSM themed bday party on Sat, too, for a boy! DS was confused, as he has zero interest in it! Any of your sons like it? Don't get me wrong, nothing against boys who do. Afterall, ds had a kitchen and a baby doll when he was younger. It's just that most boys his age don't think it is "cool". HSM is for girls! Or so ds says!
dmm- I got horrid leg cramps with both of my kids. My leg would be sore the whole day!
tiggerrn- Fuel pump. The straw that broke the camel's back on my clunker of a van. I sold it, as is.
ms. grumpy- ds's K teacher had a sign up that said, "Teaching K is like trying to keep 30 corks under water all at once". Your post reminded me of that!
Okay. Gotta' take out the garbage. I almost forgot!

Hi all!!!

Those massive NW Indiana storms stayed away from us last night. We had some thunder, lightening and rain, but nothing like other towns. What we had was very very mild. The neighboring town towards the north had 2 houses hit by lightning, and the neighboring town towards the east had an apartment hit by lightning - scary!!!!!


Today I'm getting my picture taken for the paper. I'm having a 2 page spread done about the store that comes out in September. I have no idea what to wear I wasn't expecting to get my picture done today - I just found out late yesterday that he was coming. I wish I had more notice so I could have washed something. Oh well.........I'll just have to wing it



I"m sorry I"m not responding to everyone's posts right now, but I was having computer issues this morning, and it took me a 1/2 hour to get online (I hate computers sometimes ) I did read everyone's posts though, and I'll try to get back on the DIS while I'm at work. I'm now off to the shower, and to find something to wear.

I am so tired!!! We were all out late last night. I'm actually surprised the kids woke up when they did.


Happy news for me..................

I bought a new car last night!!!!
We need to go back to the dealership today though as all the porters were gone for the night (it was really late) and the car needs to get pimped!!



Tiggerrn So no movie again for us this week. But I'm glad you already mentioned you would go to the theatre near you!!
That's so cool that Kellie is having a HSM party too!!! I would call around to see if anyone has any party stuff left instead of driving. That's what I did yesterday. Do you have a Party City near you? Or a Walmart? Both of them were carrying the HSM stuff.
Sorry to hear that your car repairs are so high!!!! Gosh that really stinks!!
I just put a ton of money into my conversion van and here I go and get rid of it!!!! But it still need a lot of work done on it so I'm fine with it!!

paint My son is not into HSM at all. And even though he can be easily influenced by his older sister, he still in NOT into HSM. He told me that him and his dad will be doing GUY stuff during the movie!!

DMM All this talk of leg cramps made me remember that while I was pregnant with Lauren....some 10 years ago (wow that made me feel old just typing that!!! ) I suffered from awful leg cramps too!!! Can't believe I forgot all about that!! They were crippeling some times to the point were I would loose my balance and my legs would just give out on me. It was really freaky!!! Luckily it didn't last that long. So I'm hoping you're legs feel much better soon too!!!


Well, I better run!! Lots to do today now. It already was going to be a busy day but now it's just going to be crazy busy!!!
