So, I said I wouldn't be here this morning, but I was wrong :teeth:
I don't have much time to sit here, because as soon as Kevin gets out of the bathroom, I have to get in there (he got up earlier for me today).

geffric said:
SLO hope that you just sit there and don't get picked for a trial..
Me too ::yes::
Hopefully they ask me all the right questions where they won't like my answers and say "bye bye" to me :teeth:

Kim said:
I hope you're outta there ASAP! (I got lucky myself last time, outta there before lunch - hope the same for you!:thumbsup2 )
Me too ::yes::
Before lunch would be good - even earlier would be better

Well, I gotta run - have a good Monday everyone!!!

accordingly.
---

On Monday April 23, 2007 from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM on E! is

Katie & Peter
Katie and Peter go on a Christmas spending spree and take a trip to
Disneyland Paris. (TVKirby note - The DLP footage is just a couple of
minutes long toward the beginning of the show. Nice footage of the park,
but the show is Not Family Safe.)

Channel is

Boy Meets World - The Happiest Show on Earth
Cory (Ben Savage) heads to Walt Disney World with the hopes of winning
back Topanga (Danielle Fishel), but she thinks he has other plans.
(TVKirby
Note - This one drives me crazy with antics like casually walking
backstage at the Living Seas and sleeping in a Splash Mountain log just to
force the
joke of getting wet when the ride starts for the day - Yeah Right!)

---

On Wednesday April 25, 2007 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM on ABC Family

Step by Step - We're Going to Disney World - Part 1
Frank's mom (June Lockhart) treats everyone to a trip to Disney World,

Part 2 of two.

---

On Wednesday April 25, 2007 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on VH1 is

I Love the '80s: 3D - "1982" Episode #3.
Orange Julius; `Victor/Victoria'; EPCOT Center; Freezy Freakies;
`Cats'; Human League; Bow Wow Wow; Tron'; VCRs. VH1 description says"In
1982, Walt
Disney helped us keep our science straight and bored kids to tears with
his brand new EPCOT Center, the "Experimental Prototype Community of
Tomorrow." (TVKirby sez - The segment is the second one after the
commercial break at 40 minutes in. As expected, they spend a huge TWO minutes
with the VH1
celebrities that call it both Fantastic and Boring. Wil Wheaton
proclaims it "Everything that Geeks Love". They show scenes from opening day.
There is a shot of Dreamfinder and Figment. Commentary on World
Showcase concentrates on the availability of alcohol. Lots of "It looks like a
big golf ball"
references to Spaceship Earth combined with a graphic of a giant golf
club hitting it. It was about what you would expect from VH1. Worth
recording for the footage.)

---

On Thursday April 26, 2007 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM on the Travel

kim raye, you can buy a twicket for six flags that is not the next day.

some years back six flags started selling the 2 day ticket with the second day twicket to be used anytime. it does cost more than the twicket.

i overslept.
good morning chicagoland homies

Good sunny morning Chicagoland. I hope you all have the sunshine today and none of that rain "they" suggested!!:rotfl:
Sandy, I hope you get out of your dreaded day without being picked for anything. I usually manage to get dumped due to my RN status since most of the things they are trying are car accidents, or other cases they don't want any medically knowledgable people there for. Plus I make it known that I am very suspicious of people in the first place, so they have to prove they didn't do it.:lmao: I know, not very good for the innocent until proven guilty theory.
Rose, sorry Matthew didn't do so well at districts. But that must be quite an accomplishment to just make it that far in the first place!!! So tell him great job!!!
Mac, thanks for the listings. I need another one of those all day marathons that I remember to record!!
KimRaye, our idea for movie meet came from the POC3 coming out in May. No date yet. Nothing more than a date yet for the bowling meet. Bunchkin said she would have more to post this week. Glad to hear your DH is feeling better.
Bunchkin, how's Tony after this beautiful weekend that he wasn't allowed to do much with? He better have behaved himself!!!:rotfl:
Well, I have got to pick up this place today and do some :laundy: Hope you all have a great day!!

Hello Everyone!!

Hunter's preschool class is having a Tea Party in a little while.
I volunteered to bring 2 dozen cookies, so I made chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin. Yumm!!! :goodvibes

Kim I don't 'want' to have another baby. It's just when I get around an infant that hormonal thing goes off and makes me think "what if?". Of course then I remember how nice it finally is to have them independant, no diapers, etc. And like Tony says "the 2 we have are already sucking up everything I make!". :rotfl: Besides he had "corrective surgery" 2 months after Hunter was born, so no more kids for us. ;)

Nothing even planned yet for a movie meet, it was just an idea.

slo Still keeping my fingers crossed for you that you don't get picked for a trial.
Thanks for all that PD for Tony!!

Tiggerrn Tony didn't stay idol much this weekend. He cut the grass, and then put some tatching blade on the mower and chopped it all to heck, so he wore himself out big time.

Hi to everyone else!

Bowling Meet Info.!!!
Everyone is WELCOME to come!!

Where: Brunswick Zone in Romeoville
Click HERE for more info and address.

When: Saturday, April 28th

Time: 10:30-11:00am at the Bowling alley

Here's what we'll do:

Everyone try to show up at the above time.
Morning leagues may still be going when we show up, but we can put our names down for lanes.
While waiting we can have fun at all the extra activities to do there. Or people can choose to have lunch, whatever you want to do.
Lanes fit 6 people. So groups will be split up into lanes and cost will then be split as well amongst that group.

Please let me know if you are coming, so I can keep track of how many people & lanes we will need!!! THANKS!!

******You can also sign up at their site and receive coupons!!!! I suggest everyone who is coming do this!!!*****
It may save some money depending on the coupon! ;)

Any questions please ask away! :)

Hey Bunchkin.
DS and DD have soccer at 9-10am. I am not sure how long it takes for us to get to Romeoville from here, but probably would not make it by 11. I am guessing it would be more like 11:30am before we could get there. I am going to Mapquest to see now.

Hi all-
Had to run some errands today.
I may not post that much this week, as I need to work on Chrissy's class project that is due this Friday. Or I should say, help Chrissy with her state project. I will read up on posts every so often, tho :)

Thanks for your kind words Tiggerrn,Slo, Mac, Geffric, KimRaye, about Matthew's district pinewood derby :goodvibes He is doing much better. He got over it a few minutes after getting home on Sat. I did tell Matthew on Sat. that it is a huge accomplishment to go to Districts :)
He is very competitive! Even when he plays Mario Kart Double Dash game cube game with DH, DS is extremely competitive and wants to win all the time!

Tiggerrn, Slo and anyone else, what is Illiana?
I take it is a speedway race? Matthew may be interested in going to something like that someday. He likes watching Nascar on tv!

Bunchkin- I'll have to take a pass on the bowling meet this Sat.
Maybe make it to the movie meet sometime!

Ok, gotta go.
Have a good day everyone.

bunchkin, have to take a pass on saturday.
mr mac and i will celebrate 28 years of wedded bliss on the 28th.

i don't think bowling is what he had in mind for us that day.

Mac Are you two going to the "blue restaurant"?:cool1:

Tiggerrn, Slo and anyone else, what is Illiana?

Illiana Motor Speedway is a half miled paved flat oval in Schererville, Indiana. Back when I was involved in Late Model Stock Cars, we used to occassionally do the Saturday night show there (Assuming the car was still in one piece from the Friday night show at Grundy).

Bowling Meet Info.!!!

CarolAnnC and I are planning to be there. I'm not sure if we'll actually bowl or not, but would love to see everyone. We just live about 5-10 minutes away.

For anyone not familiar with the intersection of I-55 and Weber Road, it was recently tagged as one of the most accident prone in the state. So, just be careful there.

There's also a Cracker Barrel right on the other side of the interchange (I'm not sure what the food offerings are at the Bowling Alley).

Hey, Chicago! Hope you all enjoyed the great weather this weekend. We were down in KY for the big birthday celebration for Mark's grandmother. It's amazing to me that she is 90 years old! Mark is one of 7 kids, so we had lots of family to visit with, and it was nice to see everyone...just quite a tiring, running around kind of few days...I need another weekend to recover!

MAC..Congratulations and happy anniversary to you and Mr Mac! Get a choc hot fudge brownie sundae for me if you get to your blue restaurant!

KIM...how is your husband? Hope he is continuing to recover.

SLO...how did the whole jury duty thing go?

BUNCHKIN...I'm wondering how your patient is doing, as well. And, your cookies sound awesome!
We are also going to have to take a pass on Saturday, as some of that family of Mark's that I mentioned are going to be in Chicago this weekend, so we are going to be busy doing the family thing again. Hopefully, next time we will be able to make the meet...I'm missing seeing my DIS family in person!

Hi to everybody else...have a great evening, all!:cool1:

For anyone who is in need of directions to Brunswick can click on the link below to Google maps and you can punch in your own address to get there!!

I hear ya Nicole! ;) LOL at Tony - "the 2 we have are already sucking up everything I make!" :rotfl:

Thanks for putting out the movie meet idea. ;) :thumbsup2

Bowling Meet Info.!!!

When: Saturday, April 28th

Time: 10:30-11:00am at the Bowling alley
BUMMER! I was hoping it might be later. Kelly has Brownies until 11 on Sat. Oh well, next time maybe! :thumbsup2

bunchkin, have to take a pass on saturday.
mr mac and i will celebrate 28 years of wedded bliss on the 28th.

i don't think bowling is what he had in mind for us that day.
CONGRATS to Mr. & Mrs. Mac!!! WOW, 28 years!! DH & I are celebrating 15 on the 25th! ;)

KIM...how is your husband? Hope he is continuing to recover.

SLO...how did the whole jury duty thing go?

BUNCHKIN...I'm wondering how your patient is doing, as well.
Yes, slo & bunchkin, how did jury duty go AND how is Tony doing?? :confused3

Donna, enjoy your family this weekend! :goodvibes

Thanks for the Marty thoughts also. He lifted too much today AND 'did stuff' at Kelly's softball practice tonight :sad2: so, I'm a little miffed at him for complaining he's sore. DUH!!!

And, little Miss Kelly is having some trouble lately. I WAS thinking allergy-related over the weekend but now I'm thinking laryngitis. Her voice is hoarse, she's been coughing a little but mostly trying to clear her throat all the time. She sleeps ok, except for tonight, she woke a couple times already saying her throat hurt but, I can't tell. :confused3 No fever thankfully. I checked online and nowhere did it say it was contagious but, it can follow a virus, which she had 2 weeks ago. Seems like a long time in between. :confused3 I gave her Tylenol and sat with her for a little while and, she's sleeping again. Not sure what the rest of the night or tomorrow will hold. There doesn't seem to be any 'cure' besides lots of fluids and resting her voice - Gosh, that latter part would be WELCOME around here! :rotfl: Ugh, I spoke too soon - she's up again. Gotta go!

Prayers, {{HUGS}} and Pixie Dust to ALL!! :grouphug:

:yay: :woohoo: :yay:
I GOT DISMISSED!!!!!
:yay: :woohoo: :yay:

I was so happy!!!!
It was a criminal case, where battery was involved, and I told the judge that my husband is an officer on the FD, an EMT, and a fire inspector, and I can't guarantee that I can keep an open mind for this case. I told him that because Kevin works so closely with the Police, we know many police officers very very well. This is not info they wanted to hear:sad2: so I was let go!!! :thumbsup2

Tiggggeernn - There was an RN in my group, and she was let go too ::yes:: She didn't look to disappointed.

Bunchkin - Thanks for The Meet info :) I joined that website, and I will get those coupons - thanks for mentioning that!!! :thumbsup2 Stephanie and I are looking forward to going (I'm leaving Ms. Katie at home with my mom) Kevin is also not coming because the FD is smoking up a house for the Town Council members to go through so they can see what the FD does, and how certain equipment could help them.
**Oh......I will probably be there a little closer to 11am than 10:30am

Rose - Good luck with Chrissy's project :wizard:

Kim - I'm so sorry to hear about Kelly not feeling well :guilty: I'll send lots of hugs  and PD her way :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

To everyone else - :wave2:

Sorry my post isn't to long this morning
When I got up, my computer had some connection problems, which delayed my posting - so annoying!!!

Well, I gotta go and get some breakfast in Steph
She has a 1/2 day today - we may go to the show and see that Firehouse Dog movie, but we'll see - it's just so darn expensive!!!!!!

Have a good day today!!

Hi everyone! I've tried to skim most of the posts, but I am so behind! The last few weeks have been so hectic, as it was the end of the semester. I just sent my last paper in on Sunday afternoon, so I am done for the summer! WHEW! No summer classes for me, because I will be busy moving back to Central IL! I am going to continue at ISU. Anyway, I will try to be a good Diser and get caught up on all of these posts!
