Hersey- Ooh, I am assuming you mean POTC...I can't wait for that! DS is so excited, too. This time, however, no beverages for him! He made me get up 3 times during the last POTC!
Dan- I am so sorry to hear about Doc. We went through a similar ordeal with our German Shep/Husky mix. It was so sad. Condolences to your family!
Maizie- Hersey does bite, but she's up to date on her shots!
Had our McD date this evening. DS had tons of fun playing, until I made him leave. A little girl had wet her pants (obviously) and was continuing to play! I don't know how the mom could not notice , but I politely told her anyway! Well, the thought of her going down the slide did it for me, so I hand sanitized DS and we left!
The rest of my grades were posted (I know, you all have been on the edge of your seats)...straight "A"s!
Better get the kiddies to bed! Night, all! WDW wishes and Dole whip float dreams (am I dating myself with that Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous reference?)!

Forget what I said earlier about Southwest!!! Thier prices are soooo high!!
I can't believe it!!!

Airtran on the other hand is running $59 and...get this.....$49 flights!!!
They keeping dropping prices!!!

Hip Hip Hooray - It's FRIDAY !!!!!!!


All my appointments went so well yesterday - it was a great day!!!!!
The day ended with all of us going to Applebees for dinner, because my last appointment was at 5pm, and I just didn't feel like cooking (plus I had some gift cards )


Today Stephanie has a play at school, that Katie and I are going to see. Then I have another appointment at 12:30, which shouldn't take to long at all. Then after Kevin comes home from work, we have to go to Home Depot - so it is another full day



Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for Doc. If Dan see's this, I know he will appreciate it



HERSEY - That's good that Alex's dad is helping him with the castle project Let us know how it looks when it's done.

Good morning Chicagoland friends….
It’s been so hard for me to find time to post…. I read and read and read some more and then my egg timer goes off and says get back to chores or go to bed!
(I don’t really have an egg timer but I should!)

STILL trying to decide on rent a cars, where to stay and is it worth it to join AAA. I think I will reserve everything today but every morning I have high hopes for the day!!! I think the Entertainment book has been my best rate with the car at around $216.00 total and as for the rooms it’s about deciding how much we want to be spending?

Questions for you all… what pool would you say is the most fun for the kids outside of the deluxe resorts???

Where do you think the best deal is on Jibbitz?? Ebay? How much do they sell them for in the park? I HAVE to have the castle one!!!!!

Slo….....glad you got out of jury duty and all. I know what you mean about the “clean no one sees”. I sweep and Scooba ALL the time but then there is always the clutter!!!! I spent a couple hours cleaning DDs bedroom yesterday just to get it to look presentable! I never get rid of even close to enough!

Tiggerrn.... is it you who said "cleaning the house when your kids are small is like shoveling in a snow storm”?
It is SO TRUE!!! Some days I feel so disheartened because I never can catch up!

MAC... happy belated Anniversary! Have fun at the concert. I think I am going to see Donny Osmond in the Fall.

Becky........did you see HSM The Concert is going to be on the Disney Channel on May 4th? Plus it will be released on CD and DVD this summer. I am VERY excited! Also, I LOVE the HSM sheets I got DD. They are so worth it!

Nicole...Spirit airlines gave us a great price!!!! Sign up for thier alerts though because you need to jump on them! We are going in June for super cheap IMO.

Sorry we can't do the meet. We are putting the pier in and opening up my parents home in Wisconsin. My parents are totally bummed because it needs a new sea wall and the prices are HORRIBLE!!! Anyone have any experience with this problem??? My Mom is talking about majorly cutting back on the WDW trip in the fall because of it. She says the sea wall will cost over 10,000 for the bare minimal! So sad!

This morning I went to Lauren's school to have a meeting with her teacher and the principal. Her teacher, who I've complained about before, needs to be removed from her position, IMO.
The principal was shocked by some of my complaints, not that they weren't true but because they were!!!
She's not happy with this teacher either.

I got a great deal on Air Tran!!! 3 rounds trips for around $380!!!! WOOHOOO!!

Great job! That's about what we paid. I got a Spirit alert for 9 cent fares. Of course that's one way but the other way wasn't too bad. Well, while my Mom and I were discussing and thinking about it flights that we saw were literally disappearing! We ended up having to come home a day later to get the better price (Oh well!). It's a tricky game I tell ya!!!

Thanks for all the congrats on my "A"s. I am concentraiting on getting all my stuff together for ISU now. Anyway, this weather is getting old! I am constantly freezing. I am ready for those warmer temps this weekend! I'll bet it is much warmer in WDW...sigh...no trip on the horizon for me and it stinks! In Aug it will have been one year! There is just no way we can make it this summer, with the move and all. My sister (remember her on here?) is planning another trip! Three times in a little over a year. Hate her...not really. Maybe we can sneak in a mid year trip. Anyone been over Xmas? Is it absolutely horrible? DBF has never been and I don't want him fed up on his first trip! I must cultivate his love for Disney or this will never work out. Kidding!

Had errands to run earlier today. I stopped at DQ (Dairy Queen) for lunch today for my favorite- peanut buster parfait! I know it isn't Culvers,
but DQ is close to me. Yum!

the man has not missed a day of work in the last 5 years. he goes to work even when he is sick.

last night he couldn't sleep well. he took today off work thinking he needed sleep.
came home from work, he has a temp of 102. yup, he is sick. he is still in bed.


3 x's i asked him if i could do anything for him, he said, leave me alone.
he is that sick.



i'll tell you one thing, i'm not sleeping with him until he gets well, i don't want the cooties and sickness. ...............this coming from the devoted wife....lol

i hate for anyone to be sick. but, just hoping he gets better soon. i dread the thought that he could be in bed all weekend and then well enough to go to work on monday. he lives for his weekends.

Yup! sounds like the flu! Get out the clorox wipes and wipe everything down, light swiches, door knobs. I hope you don't get it and Mr Mac gets better soon. This is the worse part of those vows. At least this weekend will be warmer with the sun maybe he will feel better.

i went to jewel a bit ago and gave the tickets away to strangers.

i told them to go and have a good time.

they said they don't have the $$ to pay me, i told them, it's my treat.
just because we can't go the tickets would go to waste if someone didn't go.

Sorry i've been away so long. I've really been down and out lately. I can't figure out why. I usually jump on and off and haven't had time to read past posts. I'm sorry.

I won't be able to make the meet as I originally hoped. I have to work and DD has a princess party to go tomorrow as well. Have a great time.
