Morning... I cleaned yesterday and made sweet and sour chicken and chicken stir fry and chicken parma.. I thought I would be set for the week but the boys ate so much I am barely gonna make it through tonights dinner..

Dh and eric came home early from Wilmot, they said it was like skiing on a slushy..

Well back to work.. drive safe today and stay dry..

I know you don't program the features, Mac, but I was SUPER bummed yesterday because the Travel Channel was featuring a show at 3:00 p.m. that was titled Disneyland Resort. The overview said it would feature Walt's apartment and the eternal flame in the window. Well, it ended up being that same old WDW show that they always air about the four parks. I don't mind watching that from time to time, but I was so excited about seeing something about Disneyland. That Travel Channel makes me pretty mad sometimes. I wish there was a way to find out if that Disneyland show was ever going to REALLY being on TV sometime! Arrrghg!!



Sorry, don't mean to grumble so early in the morning, but I was miffed!!

I hope everyone is doing well!! Slo: Good for you and your lazy day. I had a lazy day too. So lazy in fact that now I'm behind on my laundry and will need to catch up with a load or two tonight!! Never put off til tomorrow what you should be doing today!!

Good afternoon everyone. Hope you all had a great, do-nothing weekend. It was busy again at work. As usual, the shortest month of the year brings us the most deliveries. Guess that's what happens because of the spring flings!
Well, with Debbie's encouragement, I am going to try to put some pictures here from our vacation in October. I know it's old news, but those are the only pictures I have loaded at photobucket at this time. So here goes. Bear with me while I try to figure this out.

IMO I think the pix look great big when you are posting them on a thread!

Of course you would have to shrink them if you want to put them in a siggie or something like that(or you will get yelled at like I did)!

Does it ever worry you to post pics of yourself or family on here? I kind of get spooked by that stuff. Plus, even in photobucket I had a strange picture show up in my album-one I did not take. And I thought the only way people could get access to photos there is if they had my password. And now all my photos in the album are arranged in a different order than I uploaded. ???

TiggerRN, I don't like posting pictures of myself or Megan up here because with the information I provide about where I live, I've talked about her school, etc., it wouldn't really take long to find her if someone sort of "latched onto" her picture. It does scare me.

I did post one of her with Bruce, the great white shark, last year, but I think that may be the only one. I have posted her picture on one other much smaller Disney board where I don't post real often and have never share personal information about myself. It's also a pretty "distant" picture so you can't really get a good detailed look at her.

I have gone back and forth with this in my head a hundred times and have decided (obviously) to post the pix of our family. I am trying to not "go there" in my head I guess. I started a thread about it once and there was a strong response in both directions.
So like I was told on that thread...you have to do what you feel is best for yourself and your family.

While I would love to share pictures with all you guys, it does make me nervous to put our family pix here. I will share all my sightseeing type pix though. Funny. I was the one always telling DH never to talk to people on the internet or even consider going to meet them, and here I was the one who started talking to people on the DIS and have met some of you. I guess it just didn't worry me to meet people who share a love of Disney. After all, you guys are the only ones who would ever understand a WDW obsession.

Does it ever worry you to post pics of yourself or family on here?

While I have never been worried about posting photos of myself or family online, I have seen cases where troublemakers have grabbed photos from forums and posted them elsewhere to make fun and jokes of them out of meanness. Basically, it's up to the comfort level of each poster.

You're never wrong if you worry about protecting your privacy on the Internet. There's a lot of very nasty people out there.

good morning all.

Sorry it's just a quick stop, I am going back downtown this week and I never seem to have time in the morning.

My countdown is to 22!!! I can't believe it's getting so close. My Annual Passes came in the mail Saturday and next stop WDW!

DD and I went to Rainforest Cafe last weekend. It was a 50 min wait for lunch. I asked about the Safari club. It was $15 with a $10 Gift Certeficate in a few weeks. 10% off food and store which is great because DS is a huge animal lover. What sold me is peferred seating. Once I bought it I got right in! It was great. From what I read it's a one time purchase. So there is no need to renew. Thanks for letting me know about it I don't think I would have thought about it.

Well, have to go have a great day all.

Things are fine here - nothing to exciting going on.

I decided I"m staying home today - alone
Stephanie is going to school, and Katie is going to daycare, and therefore, I'm going to turn the music up high, and do some serious cleaning around the house without interuptions This way I will get it all done, and then I don't have to worry about it for awhile.

scrappinmom - I'm trying to think of a summer thing to do too. We can only do a long weekend because we are taking the cruise in October. I'm playing around with the idea of Mackinaw Island

geffric - Thats great you got those meals made. I should do that on the days I"m home.

Sam - My laziness made me behind with the house cleaning. So I will have a lot to do today. Oh well, I enjoyed my day being bum

Bunchkin - Stephanie usually sits with me too (I missed her) but she was playing school with Katie all day Poor Katie sits there so patiently while Stephanie is making her take time tests, spelling tests, and practice her reading Since Katie can't write, her tests are very interesting It's actually really cute and I should sneak into her room sometime with the camcorder and tape them.

Leigh - When is your home going to be done?

**I used to get worried about posting pictures of the girls, but I don't anymore. I extremely rarely (almost never) state what town I"m in online. There have even been a couple of times that I pm'd pictures of the girls to those I know because they were by my towns name. I also never said where Stephanie goes to school. Now....if someone really wanted to track her down, I'm sure they could, but I'm going to try and not worry about that.
