I'm glad to hear you are doing well. How are the girls doing?

I'm taking a very short break from doing housework. I am bound and determined to get myself organized today. I have too much stuff. I tackeled my junk drawer and discovered enough soy sauce to open my own chinese restaurant. :rotfl2: I also need to reclaim my flowerbeds from the weeds.

Oh for everyone having outside activites today I covered feeding the mosquitos for you last night. 10 minutes and I got 7 bites and the village sprayed Thursday night. :confused3

What another beautiful day we are having today!!!! :sunny:

We spent a good part of yesterday in the pool, and then last night we took a drive in Kevin's car :car: and had some ice cream at Oberweiss :goodvibes But we didn't stay out long, because I wanted Stephanie to get to bed - she only got 3 hours of sleep at the sleepover she went too :faint:

Today, we are going to Kevin's parents house for dinner - which is nice, because now I don't have to cook :woohoo: :yay: We are celebrating my FIL's bday, because they will be in Florida during his actual bday.

Mac - Thanks for the listings!!! :)

HERSEY - No, Alex didn't stay little and small (I've never seen any baby pictures of him. The next time I see you, you'll have to show me if you have any with you), but he did grow-up to be such a nice young man. I bet you are so proud of him!!!! :goodvibes
**How was your cookout yesterday?
**Sorry to hear about the mosquito bites :guilty: Do remember how I told you that we had no mosquitoes where I live, and how wonderful it's been? Well......now after all that rain, they are terrible:mad: The minute I go outside to take out some garbage at dusk or after, I'm literally attacked!!!! So, our afterdark activities are now done for the season. This gives me even more incentive to close in our backporch someday

Bunchkin - I will have to look into that rule at Stephanie's school :teacher: That would be great if she had equal time to get her missed work done.

geffric - Hooray about the fridge!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: How sad about the car!!! :guilty: I hope all these problems end for you soon :wizard:

Amy - Hi there!! :wave2: So good to hear from you!!! I can hardly wait to hear about the new baby after he/she is born:goodvibes How is your mom? How is your sister? Is your mom still at CVS? Tell her to come by and say hi - we miss her!!!

Well, I gotta run and feed my younsters some breakfast, and then clean the main level of the house (I did the upstairs yesterday). I try to clean each level a different day, so it doesn't take as long:thumbsup2 (I have a quad level house).

Have a good day today everyone!!

27 today! WOW! Im getting old. Katelyn and Hayley are doing very well, they miss my mom so much. My mom and sister's are all fine, they all just came back from Disney in August. SLO- yes mom is still at CVS, she will never leave there.

Happy Birthday, Amy!!:bday: :cake: party: :rainbow:

Great to hear from you!
Best wishes on your pregnancy. Hope all goes well with your labor and delivery!

Slo- Thanks for the birthday wishes!

DonnaW-Where did you stand at the parade route this morning?
I think I saw your DS's float. Did you say it was Driscoll Catholic High school band? Their float was near the end, I think St. Alexius hospital float was right before your DS's float. We were just leaving the parade route when I think I saw your DS's float go by and turn down the side street where the parade ends. Matthew and Don were in the middle of the parade, with all the Cub Scout packs.
The parade I think lasted 2 hrs!! It is a long, long parade! :faint:
We left to go home when parade was over, as we did the Fest part on Saturday.

I hope everyone is having a good labor day.
Don't forget to watch Fat March.

Happy Birthday, Amy!!:bday: :cake: party: :rainbow:

Great to hear from you!
Best wishes on your pregnancy. Hope all goes well with your labor and delivery!

Thank you, so far I am only having 1 contraction an hour the doctor said, I guess its starting, but still have weeks according to my due date of Oct. 8.

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend. Worked today. Weekend was nice though. I spent a little more time in the pool. Summer is ending for it soon.
Bunchkin, we have one of those inset pools. Perfect size for the kids right now, and I like that we can drain it and put it away for winter. It is 42 inches deep and 15 feet around. The kids can go under but still stand up with their heads above water. It's one of those inflate the top ring, spread out evenly on level ground and fill with water and the sides rise up as the water fills. It was the best $150 I have ever spent.
:bday: party: Rose and Amy. Hope you had great days!!
Sandy, sending lots of :wizard: your way. Hopefully those ads will send you lots of new business. I will see you Thurs after the kids MD appt. Sounds like Steph had a good sleepover party if she only slept for 3 hours. Hope you had a nice relaxing weekend.
Amy, enjoy the last few weeks of your pregnancy. The baby will arrive before you know it.
Kids start school tomorrow!!! :yay: They are excited. They both met their teachers last week at open house, and both seem very nice. Kyle was his usual nosey self while the teacher was trying to talk to him. He kept looking around the room checking things out and half paying attention. I had to promise the teacher he really is a good student.:rolleyes1 She asked who his teacher was the year before (she probably wanted to get the 411 on him).:scared1:
bigben, I was sorry to see Anthony go tonight. I really felt bad for him. You are all doing great!!!
Crissup, got those pix up yet? Can't wait to see them.
Mac, thanks for having our backs once again, and for the postings. Hope you are having some great weather as well.
geffric, OH NO!!! Not the car, too?!!! That's it now. No more for you.
My van goes in tomorrow for the repairs from the service center caused damage. Still don't know how that will pan out. Haven't received a bill from insurance for the deduct. We'll see.
Well, gonna run. Hope you all have a good day tomorrow.

What a great last couple of days - it felt so nice to be off :goodvibes
I really needed this time to spend with the family :goodvibes

Amy -

I hope you had a wonderful birthday yesterday!!!
**I'm glad to here your mom and sister are doing well? I hope they had a great time at WDW :cool1:
**Congrats on having another girl!!! :cutie: Stephanie was almost an Ashley - I really like that name!!!

bigben - I'm so glad you gave us a reminder, because I read it at 7:50pm, and I said to Kevin, "OMG, I forgot that Fat March was on tonight". It felt so much like Sunday yesterday. You are doing awesome on the show - your family must be so proud of you (your DIS family is proud of you too!!!) I did watch it, and I'm felt so bad about Anthony getting voted off :guilty: What's the deal with him and the other marcher (I can't think of her name)? Isn't she married? If so, she had some splain'n to do when she got home:rolleyes:

TTTTigern - Good luck to the Kellie and Kyle today as they start school :teacher: :wizard: How are they feeling? Are they all healed up, or do they still have some pain in the throat?
**Sounds great about Thursday!! If it's later in the day, Stephanie will be there to see the kids :teeth:

To everyone else - :wave2:

Well, I gotta run and get Steph up and ready for school :teacher:
Have a good day today everyone!!

Well that was a fast long weekend eh? Where does the time go? I was busy busy busy and apparently missed some very important visits, one from some young ladies who live down the road. Bunchkin, sorry I missed you this weekend. It would have been nice to see you and Lauren. Megan had a great time though, so thanks for thinking of her this weekend.

Here I am back at work (wasn't I just here??).

Glad to see everyone is doing so well! Nice to see some old familiar faces pop back up on the thread!

Well, I officially feel like summer is over. However, apparently the mosquitos don't think so because despite having "Off-ed" ourselves profusely this weekend, we still got chewed up at a family party on Sunday. I'd never seen such voracious mosquitos before in my life. They just wouldn't let us be. I really hope none of us have any serious problems due to these bites. I hate how now you have to be worried about West Nile when the only thing we used to worry about was just being itchy! Where do these diseases come from. A friend of mine got a tick on her arm a few weeks ago and immediately developed that nasty bullseye rash and had to take meds to ward off any Lyme Disease. That's another disease I just heard of in the last five to ten years. Never worried about stuff like that when you were little. The only thing you had to worry about was hopefully getting the tick off you in one piece! Arrrgh!

Well, I'm done whining about the bug world now! :rotfl:

Megan is really starting off the school year on a hot streak. Lots of 100% on her paper's coming home. Hopefully, her enthusiasm will continue. I am very proud of her. She seems to have retained a lot of her learning over the summer. We didn't do a whole lot of reading or book work over the summer either even though I always say I'm going to keep on her about it. I have a hard time getting on her about that during the summer when you're supposed to be out having fun. :teacher:

So, goodbye summer, HELLO FALL. My most favorite time of the year!

I'm very excited for all you who have big trips coming up! I bet you are getting super excited too! I got a ways to go yet, but it's coming up pretty fast. It'll be here before you know it!

Have a good week everyone!

Sam!!!

Hi all!! :wave2:

I just realized that I had started to post yesterday and then walked away from the computer to do something and Lauren asked if she could get online and I told her to go ahead and log me off. I guess I forgot to finish my post first!! Oh well!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!!
Kids were able to go fishing with DH and caught a ton of fish in the big pond in our subdivision. :fish:
We also gave the new car a thorough cleaning and waxing.
And yesterday we went to Bass Pro Shop and took the neighbor kids with. They had just come over early morning to play while I was still getting ready to go out so we just invited them to go with. They all had a great time there.

slo Congrats on business picking up for you!! :thumbsup2
Hope you had a nice time at your in laws!!! I always love when I don't have to cook.
Hopefully Stephanie got some extra sleep!!! :cutie:

Sam I don't know if it was your staticy phone line or what but I think my asking Dan if Megan could come over here got mixed up or miss communicated or what! :confused3 It was no big deal, but we were surprised when he showed up and asked Lauren if she was ready to go to your house. I obviously would have drove her over there if I knew that's what he and Megan wanted. :) Especially since he was in the middle of working on your front porch.
Sorry we missed seeing you too.

Tiggerrn Usually a insurance co. will pay for the vehicle's work MINUS your deductible to the shop. So you would end up owing the difference to the shop.
Good luck to the kids on their 1st day of school!!! :teacher: :cheer2:

2sweet Glad to see you here again! :)
But weren't you moving to North Carolina??? I think someone took a wrong turn along the way!! ;)
Congrats on the new baby girl on the way!!!
And Happy B-day!!! :cake:

Geffric Let's hope that your car troubles are the end of all this!!! Metal on metal sounds could mean you need new brakes.

bigben I have mixed feelings about Anthony based on all the things he said behind every one's backs. And I agree with slo....I thought she was married!!! All though she did look surprised when Anthony kissed her. But didn't she tell him she loved him too. :confused3
You'd know better then us what really went on there!!! ;)

Good afternoon everyone. Kids had a great first 2 hours of school:rotfl2: . I am still not sure why they bother with that. :confused3
Bus stopped here this morning at its' scheduled time (suprise suprise) but I always like to take them the first day. It also stopped here on its drive after school even though the kids weren't on it. They have a different driver this year. I really liked the driver they had last year, so was sad to see someone else.

Bunchkin and Slo, I thought she was married as well. And she did whisper to Anthony that she loved him and not only that but was in love with him. Maybe it's the other girl that was married. Bigben will have to set us straight.

Sam you are really pushing this fall stuff on us. I am really not ready to give up summer yet!!! However, those of you with trips on the near horizon are surely looking forward to them. I don't blame you all one bit!!! Be sure to take and share lots of pictures. Then I won't feel so bad.

Bunchkin, glad you all had a nice weekend. What are you going to do with the fish? Or did they let them go? Last fall, FIL took Kellie and Kyle fishing and they came home with some small bluegills in a bucket. They didn't want Grandpa to put them back and they didn't want to kill them to eat them. They thought they would keep them for a while as pets.:lmao: I made DH take them to a nearby pond after the kids saw them hardly swimming any more and coming to the top of the bucket. Then I made the kids promise not to bring home any more "pets".

Well, better get some work done. Later all.
