Brrrr it is cold this morning... hope it warms up...

Qtr is almost over.. not been a good one but them 3rd qtr looks good.. if I am still employed..


I have been giving Geoff driving lessons... and I am very proud of him, he is doing fine and so far I haven't yelled at him so I think things are going well. Eric s in football camp and loves it.. Summer school session one is over on the 3rd.. finals et al.. and then both boys have 2nd session starting July 5th.
I have been talking with them about what to do for the 4th.. since it is only one day.. But i think I get out of work at 3 pm, so we could go camping for a night and hiking. i am thinking of starved rock or another state park.. Eric vetoed that idea.. he wants to go to 6 Flags, but Geoff and Scott vetoed that idea.. I then thought about the Taste.. but DH said no.. what to do..


WendyBirdGirl I am in Palatine too. Have fun at the wedding..

SLO - I am sure that business will pick up.. July is just a slow month.. I have some things for you to frame but need to get my client in Gary to agree to an onsite visit, so I have an excuse to go to the south side..

It was pretty windy and a little chilly. It went a lot better than I thought. I was so busy trying not to go swimming with the dead fish I didn't get weapy

Actually, I work at the Yankee Candle in Orland Park. I just like seeing other stores to check out what they have. Right now, with the big sale going on, each store can have different merchandise.

Lauren (DD 5) and I had a good day. I really hate crossing the Mississippi, but managed to get over it both ways. Held my breath the whole time, but managed to cross the bridge.

Michelle Not going to Milwaukee Summerfest. My week's filled up.
Trying to let their new album grow on me. And I'm not too thrilled over their ticket prices. They will be higher when the full tour starts in Jan '08.
Plus, I'm already going to Wisconsin once this coming month for the American Girl Benefit Sale in Madison............and that's more than enough trips to WI for me!!!

It's going to be a beautiful day!!!

I have to go get an emission test done on my van today. I've only had to do this once before in my life because I've never had a vehicle long enough.



Hersey Their cd is ok. What really urked me was when I was watching the 'Unplugged' special of theirs the other day and he was singing all his old songs through his nose!! He does this to protect his voice because he can't hit those notes any more......but it drives me crazy!! And he tends to round notes and sounds too. I don't want to pay $100+ a concert ticket to hear someone sing through their nose!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a very early start today - I was up at 6am doing bills and balancing checkbooks. As much as it's a bummer to do this so early in the morning - it sure does feel good now that it's done

The girls are home with Kevin, and they will be able to play outside all day today - they are very excited about that!!!! It's been awhile since they were able to do that.
