well its 2am and I should be in bed now considering DH and I are taking the girl's to the Children's Museum at Navy Pier in the morning. Well off to bed for now. I am so tired. Il post a small trip report about our museum trip tommorow night with some pics.

Good Wednesday morning everyone!! 
I am the big 35 today
(2 smilies for that one) So I am celebrating by staying in my pajamas for longer than normal, and staying home all morning and afternoon. Then tonight we are all going to my mom's for my favorite birthday dinner and cake (of which my mom still puts my Snow White characters on - these have been on my cake since I was a very little girl)
macraven - Sorry you didn't like your Taco Bell last night . I don't mind their taco salads as long as I'm really in the mood for them. To bad you don't live closer, I would have told you to come over for some lasagna. It was reallly yummy and we had a lot left over. So, what kind of pizza are you getting tonight?
HERSEY - I know what you mean about wanting to be alone - I have those days too
. Especially at Christmas time - there's nothing worse than retail at Christmas time.
Bunchkin - I make mac-n-cheese & hot dogs too - the kids really like that sometimes

born and raised in the st louis area.........when i was in high school and we would skip school for a game, never got in trouble.
the dean would say, good choice of where to spend the day.
st louis has always been a baseball town.
it's still in me.
but, when the red birds are stinking it up, i root for the cubbies.
its only at these times my true self comes out.
there is always next year for the cubbies.

Good morning, Chicago...
Nothing exciting for dinner here in Roselle last night. Tuna casserole, and it was left-over from the night before! But, it was good (Mark actually made it, see guys *can* cook, too!) I would LOVE to get some fresh recipe ideas, but they have to be easy...like Hamburger Helper, easy!
EEYORE...we have gone to the city for the Mag Mile Lights Festival for years now. We usually book a room in Chicago and take the train early in the day on Saturday and spend the day downtown going to Water Towr Place, and enjoying all the special events for the lights festival day before the parade even begins. They have, in the past, always had Disney stage shows, but I read that this year they are going to be doing American Girl stage shows, so it's going to be a bit different. Mickey Mouse should still be leading the parade in the evening, though. We're still trying to decide if we should still go this year. The band that our son directs is going to be in the Thanksgiving day parade, so we may skip the Lights Fest this time to go to that, but we may end up going to both! And, happy birthday to your daughter! I like that you give "yourself" a gift!

Good Morning!!
Lots of things to do today!!
1st I need to run to the grocery store, DH used all the bread this morning for his lunch which, suprise!!, left me nothing for Lauren's lunch.
So I need to drop off something to her later this morning.
And it's also my mom's birthday today, and I'm taking her out for lunch after we drop off Hunter at preschool.
Everyone please don't forget to post on the Pumpkin Farm meet thread if you are able to attend. That way I know who to keep an eye out for that morning! The link is in my siggie! Thanks!!!!
