Hi all happy Tuesday-
Sure is chilly out there!

Anyways, thought I bring this up. At my church this coming Sat evening and Sunday services, Bono from U2 will be interviewed!! Well, he isn't quite going to be at church physically. Via videotaped interview from a few months ago. My senior pastor at my church has interviewed him. It's a 45 min interview. Bono will be talking about the AIDS crisis and social injustice.
I have not seen the taped interview yet. It hasn't been shown to our congregation yet, tho it has been shown to one of our leadership conferences in August.
If anyone is interested in going to my church to see the 45 min taped interview during services, let me know. My church website is www.willowcreek.org
On the top left of hte front page of the website is the Bono thing with the sunglasses. You can click there to get more info. We also have satelite churches in Crystal Lake, Wheaton, and Glenview. Dh and I will be attending our main church campus in South Barrington, the 5:30 pm Saturday service. If anyone plans to visit the main church campus on Sat., let me know and maybe we can meet up. I have a feeling this is going to draw a ton of people(in general) this weekend to my church.
So, if you love to hear Bono's talking voice, seeing him in his sunglasses, would like to hear about the topic, then come on over to my church!

Hi all!!

I just got back from taking the girls to the doctor for their annual before vacation checkup. Stephanie's ear needs ear drops and poor Katie has an impacted colon . I taking mediciane with me in case I need it, but after vacation I definitly have to give it to her to help clean her out. It's going to be a 4 week process . Than I have to take her for an X-Ray to see if she's clear (I took her for an X-Ray today and that's how they diagnosed her).

I feel so bad for my poor Katie . I have to take away all the foods she loves the most: cheese, milk & pasta. This is basically the only things she eats I don't know what I'm going to do on vacation. She doesn't eat meat My doctor told me that it's going to be a long process to change her diet, and there's going to be alot more downs than ups But after we get the diet changed, than hopefully her colon will start working better.

My poor Katie has had more problems in her little life. Thank God she stays happy and loves going to see the doctor. She also loves taking mediciane, so that's really good too. I'm still nervous on what vacation will hold for her/us, so wish us luck - we'll need it!!!

what a long day. Glad its over! It sure is nippy out today. But I kinda like it. Its much better than sweltering heat IMO. It could be a little warmer though. I mean it is still September after all.

Slo so sorry for little Katie. I hope that the trip will still be magical and wonderful with having to do the new diet. I hope it all works out.

I'm getting really excited about Wicked in November. I should be getting the tickets any day now. I just heard from my best friend in Ohio who said she is coming up that weekend to visit! Too cool! So you all will get to meet her. Shes not a disney nut, but still a good egg Now I just have to finagle her a seat. Shouldn't be too hard

to Katie, and Slo - my kids are very very picky eaters, so I totally understand - can she have fruit? Veggies?? Maybe with the dip? I could entice my kids to eat raw carrots but like the "white" dip (ranch dressing!) my boys loved raisins!!! How about bacon for a meat choice to begin with? Anything dipped in ketchup is "ok" w/ dd, but she loves bacon!! (not dipped in ketchupn but she did dip the ham in ketchup - eww!!)

One day at a time...

Ice cream?!! YUM!! (I've never eaten at Casey's - nor the bakery in MK )
