Hi all!! :wave2:

The meet pictures look great!! And you all look like you had a great time AND some tasty treats!! :teeth:
Wish we could have been there!

We got bad news yesterday that a friend of the family has passed away. He had recently gone through hip surgery and his health in general was fading.
Wednesday is his wake. Luckily my mom lives near the funeral home so we can drop the kids off there first.
He was such a nice man. In the early years of our business he had given Tony a lot of work for a large condo complex.
He will be missed. :(

slo At Texas Roadhouse you can throw peanut shells on the floor, but usually they have a container (pail) to throw the shells into. They also line dance there. The kids love that!
No Tony never took the kids to the mall. He didn't get home till after 5pm and we didn't eat dinner till about 6pm, so by then it was too late considering they needed showers and to get to bed on time. I think we'll try going to the mall on a week night this week, instead of waiting for the weekend.

Hersey I hate the last few days before Christmas at the stores. Too many crazies  out there shopping. Makes me want to bump into them with my shopping cart!! :rotfl: :thumbsup2

I have so much to do today, well all week for that matter!
I have Lauren's class Christmas party on Friday too.
Not to mention I have a lot of things to do before leaving for WDW.

Great pics from the meet! Nice to put faces with them names. And it looks like you all had fun! :thumbsup2

Hi Michele! :wave2:

There is a lot of Disney memorabilia at R' Place, maybe we should have a meet there!! :rotfl2:

Hello All!

Happy Monday. Only a half week for me!! I am outta here on Wednesday at noon! I won't be back until the 26th!

Bunchkin: Sorry about your friend. I hate when people pass near the holidays. I hate when people pass any time, but at the holidays is so sad for the family & friends involved. But, we always know our friends would want us to carry on! They are in a better place right?

Hey, I forgot to ask you a small Disney favor when we were over the other night. I was wondering if you were going to go to the MK when you are there? If so, could you look for a special hat for me? Its a hat you can only find at Mickey's Philharmagic! It's a white fleece-like cap and it has Donald's legs sticking up off the top! Kind of like Donald's butt at the back of the theater at the end of Philharmagic. They were sold out the week I was there! I would gladly pay you in advance for it.

We had a nice time Saturday night. Sorry we stayed so late. I could tell you were really getting tired. Megan had a wonderful time and if it weren't for the Bears game yesterday, she would have liked to have watched her new movie. But, the Bears rule at our house! After the Bears, it was dinner, bath and bed!

Slo: You sound like me these days! Busy Busy Busy!!!

Well, hope everyone has a good Monday. Only one more Monday left in 2006!! And, it is a very special day!

I'm glad the meet went well. Hope everyone enjoyed their Culvers! Then again, I never had a bad meal at Culvers. Yummmy!!

Sam Yes, I will look for that hat for you. We will be at MK 2 days, our favorite park!!! :cool1: I've never seen that hat before, but then again I've actaully never stopped in that shop either.
On our last trip we went to Philarmagic twice (it was wonderful!!) and that was the 1st time I had been to it!!!!! Tony and Lauren have been but not me or Hunter!!

You didn't stay too late, I just stayed up way too late the night before and it was catching up to me!!! :teeth: I should know better! :thumbsup2
We had a really nice time with you all!! :teeth:

Lauren and Hunter watched their copy of that DVD yesterday!!

NO BEARS game was watched here!!!! :rotfl:

HI guys...another fly by...

I keep telling myself I have to stay away from the computer until I get certain things done so I haven't been on too much. I let myself read what you guys are all up to but then I make myself leave before I start typing away. BTW, I don’t know how to type.

Today at least I finally finished my Christmas cards to mail out tomorrow. Better late than never! No one really talked about doing his or her cards here did ya? Do you guys all send cards out? I really always WANT to send the cards out I just never feel like I have the time to enjoy doing them like I would like. With the little ones around I have to work fast!

Have a great day tomorrow everyone.
A little more shopping, some cleaning, and A LOT of wrapping and I should be good to go!
Debbie

OH yeah, another thing... I am getting really sick of the new server! Now, I can't even see all my pix in my siggie not to mention the annoying white page! Thank goodness the refresh button works or I would be steaming mad!

Hi

Debbie...we make our cards! :scared1: and there are well over 150 on our list (husband's clients & our friends) :rotfl2: :sad2: :lmao: Oh boy. We hope to get them mailed out tomorrow. Some years they have been late. :confused3 It's a LOT easier since we have digital cameras and computers. For years we had to take prints to WalMart or wherever and have them adjust and print, etc. argh. So don't feel bad if yours are going out tomorrow. I'll be happy to have ours done then. I love receiving them though, don't you?

Dinner with Santa last night was just great!!!! :santa:
The kids had such a great time, and when Santa came into the FD in the firetruck I thought Katie was going to pass out with excitement :faint: I'm really kicking myself for not taking my video camera. I also had a chance to visit with FD friends - it was a really a nice night!!!!! :thumbsup2

Today I am working at the frame store - it's down to crunch time - the dreadful week before Christmas  Hopefully our customers will continue to behave themselves and not ruin my holiday by being difficult.

Bunchkin - I am so sorry to hear about your friend passing away :guilty: Many hugs to you and your family  I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers this holiday season.

disneymama - :wave2:

Sam - :wave2:

Debbie - I did my Christmas cards awhile ago. I had a moment where the kids were playing real nice together and I took advantage of it to do the cards. I mailed about 65 cards out this year :thumbsup2

rmom - I do love to receive Christmas cards ::yes:: I tape them on my coat closet for all to see :teeth:

Well, I gotta run and get ready for work.
Have a good day today everyone!!!!

Bunchkin -- Sorry to hear about your friend. :grouphug:

The pictures from the meet were great.

Did I read something about a Jan. meet? I think I missed the info, details please? One of these days I'm hoping to make a meet although starting in January gymnastics/cheerleading competition time starts up so things do get crazy.

Our tree is up and my poor little guy. My DD made pillows for her siblings and put the gifts under the tree. The 3 year old knows what his name looks like so saw his name on the gift grabbed it and brought it over to me saying "It's MINE" but when I wouldn't let him open it, he got those big crocodile tears and was so upset...he just kept telling me that it was his, with the big old sad looking, crying eyes. I finally had to take it away and go put it back in DD's bedroom (the edge had popped open anyway so it needed to be re-taped, luckily he couldn't see what it was or I don't think I would have ever gotten it back since it's Thomas the Train fabric she made it in!).

I still have shopping to do (which I SHOULD be doing right now while it's not so busy at the stores during the day) but I'm too tired to do it right now. I have the youngest one so I can't get his last minute stuff anyway. We were waiting on some gifts that arrived Saturday before we went out officially. We have a slight problem in that somehow the little guy ended up with several more gifts than the older ones, so I have to go even it out because we can't have that. :rotfl2: At least for my DD it's not so bad because I had a few things for her birthday that I guess now she's getting for Christmas to help with the evening it out. Oops! Hopefully I can still FIND some stuff at this point. :lmao:

Plus I'm really hoping what we ordered for my DH's sister & husband shows up. They are coming over Christmas Eve and it's not here yet. DH supposedly ordered it not too long ago though. Hope we did it in enough time. :rolleyes1

Happy Tuesday all!! :)

Today Hunter finally gets his cast off!!!! :cool1:  :cheer2:
He's so excited!! But I've been also trying to prepare him for what will happen to get if off and what his arm will look like underneath. It is/was a full arm cast.

Tonight we are going to the mall. Finishing a little shopping, and we need to pick up our copy of POTC2 from the Disney Store. Kinda forgot to do that!! :thumbsup2

Debbie I mailed our Christmas cards on Friday. A little late for me, but they're out!! :thumbsup2

slo Katie must have looked so suprised to see Santa!!! :goodvibes
What a fun night!!

rmom 150 CARDS!!!!!! :faint:

:wave2: Hi to everyone else!!! :wave2:

I need to get Hunter to the doctor soon, so I better get a move on!!
