Get this--after hemming and hawing on the Minnie costume, I go to the Outlet site today and they don't have a small! I have no idea if they had a small a few days ago. I think they did, but I can't swear to it.

So now I may have to wait till next year and hope I could get it before MNSSHP. Does anyone remember when they start selling their costumes? I would probably be trying to go in September. :guilty:

Try Ebay and I am assuming you went to Disneyshopping.com already????

SamI - And its just so nice to go in the strainer.

Jedi - Yes a pee - pee strainer. Its kind-a-like a colinder but instead of putting food it you go pee-pee in it. What your tring to do is catch the stone. Nice Huh.

Jedi - Its like passing a BB through a piece of paper. Yeah it hurts that much, but the morphine is nice :thumbsup2 .

Hi Everyone,
Wow! if you dont keep up on this thread there's a lot of stuff to read!

I redid my DVD today WITH the pix that were missing and they said they would cancel my first DVD (that I wasn't as happy with). So hopefully that all gets worked out.

Donna...thanks for your downtown trip report...I have been debating about making that parade a weekend event. I live pretty close to downtown though so I go back and forth each year. Maybe next year!

We went and saw the "Christmas Around The World" trees today at the Museum Of Science & Industry. We really try to make it a point to utilize everything the city has to offer. I love it down there!

My Thanksgiving plans are in the middle of being messed up. Long story short My SIL saw us yesterday and said to us as we were leaving "See you at 3:00 on Thanksgiving"! A few weeks ago we told her that we were going by my side at 3:00 and she originally told my DH that she would have us over around 1:00. So now we are probably not going to go by them because we obviously can't be in two places at once. :confused3 But...I don't want anyone mad at me or to look like the bad guy because we aren't seeing DHs family but it isn't my fault they changed the time, right?
Oh I could go on and on but why bore you with it all........

Those two Culvers dates aren't looking too good for me but who knows, maybe the calendar can be opened up. That Culvers is an hour away from me though too. I am sure all of you guys have driven far in the past so I understand all the locations aren't always going to be close to me.
And not that you guys aren't worth the drive!!!!! I will just shoot for a NW side one the next time!

Talk to you guys later...
Hope everyone stays or gets healthy!
Debbie

Ok, everyone!

The poll is up. I have those 2 dates - but like I said, if you all can agree on a different date, that's fine! I don't have to be there (but it would be nice! :teeth: )

(Poll is in my signature and in the Meet thread)

A pee-pee strainer?? :scared1: :rotfl2:

So, is it as painful as labor? I've always wanted to ask someone that. :teeth:

Don't let everyone scare you. Kidney stones are 10x worse than labor. I don't remember think I wanted to die having Alex. Kidney stones I definetly thought that would be a good idea. This was one case where drugs are good :teeth:

Yeah, that's what the Outlet is, the outlet side of Disneyshopping. That's where they have all of their Halloween costumes now. And it's half off! It's sooo expensive normally. I should have just bought it, assuming they did have a small. :sad2: I'm trying to not spend so much, because I'm buying the house, so that's why I was hesitating. And now it could be twice as much!

Hmmm, I wonder if they might have them at the outlet at Gurnee Mills? :scratchin I could check if we go for a Meet! Do the regular stores still have any costumes? They might not have adult costumes anyway.

I did check ebay, and can keep checking, but right now they only have these awful off-the-shoulder Minnie costumes.

I don't remember seeing any adult Halloween costumes at the stores and I visit about 4 Disney Stores. Bummer!

SamIAm I can't believe I forgot to tell you.about my gallbladder !! :sad2: I also forgot to tell my mom!!! AND when I told Tony it wasn't until late at night, hours after seeing the doctor!!! :sad2: I have gone MENTAL!!! :rotfl2: I can't remember anything lately. I'm lucky that I found my way home after leaving your house!! :rotfl2: Good thing you only live 5 minutes away from me!!! :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

You should have told Tiggerrn that there is NO room in your luggage for her to sneak a ride in!! I saw it...nope, no room!!! :rotfl2:

Hunter had lots of fun! But you can bet he'll want to visit your swingset again AFTER his cast is off!! ;)

And of course, Lauren had a great time too. She really likes Megan! ::yes::

The thing about this gallbadder business is, that I don't feel like I'm in pain. The doctor was poking at me and of course that hurt. But she said she wasn't poking very hard and that the previous pain I did have and went to the hospital for is indicative of gallbadder problems. I am hoping that there is nothing wrong and that the doctor was just poking too much!! :teeth:

Donna Sounds like you and Mark had quite a busy and fun weekend!! :)

jedi I'll have to check my calanders and see what is going on for the dates of the Culvers meet!!
And you HAVE to be there this time!!! :thumbsup2
BTW, I saw some of Toby's work on YouTube last night! Very funny stuff!!
But where does he find the time to do all that stuff!!???? :teeth:

Leigh Sorry you didn't get your Minnie costume you wanted. I'm sure you will find something by next summer. ::yes::

Bunchkin - yeah. His youtube page. He has a HUGE following there. Lots and lots of fans proposing marriage and wanting to have his "pirate babies" I agree - where DOES he get all the time to do all that :rotfl:

He has an arts background. He acted in high school plays and he went to the Art Institute for several semesters but never finished his degree (it got too expensive :guilty: ). So, he's right in his league right now. :smooth:

Good evening all. Bunchkin, are you sure I wouldn't fit. I'm sure I could curl up really tight and all. Maybe in the extra carry on? How about it SamIAM? At least I could see some sun today. DS had a field trip to the Field Museum. You should have seen the line for the Tut exhibit. Couldn't believe it on a Monday during a school week. We weren't doing that. 1st graders are doing the "American Indian" theme right now, so we had to go to those rooms and then went through the animal exhibit. Thinking of going downtown Wednesday still. Anyone game?
Sounds like most of you are shopping and cooking and hosting the holiday. Think of me-I'll be suffering with pressed turkey meat and Stove Top stuffing at the hospital all day long. :sad2: Can't tell a woman in labor that she can't have her baby because it's a holiday :rotfl2: Try it and you're liable to be pommelled to death.
Leigh, I was just at the DS in Chicago, no adult costumes there at all. But you should be able to get the costume in August, watch for the online specials and if you don't get Mousesavers newsletters, sign up. You will get special deals about that time for free shipping on Halloween costumes and extra $ off by using the codes. I do this each year for the kids. Got DS Peter Pan costume for $17 and DD Belle this year with all accessories for less than $30.
Deb, glad to hear you were able to fix your DVD. Nothing worse that paying$$$ for something that wasn't what you wanted and knew it could be.
Hope you all have a good day tomorrow. I am sorting kids toys and books while they are at school and haven't a clue what they'll be missing. :lmao:

Thanks, I just signed up on MS. :goodvibes And thanks Debbie, and anyone else, for your suggestions. I just tend to get impatient and panic. I know I have almost a year. :rotfl: And it's good to know that the costumes should be out in August. It would make sense that they would be out before MNSSHP starts. (And they probably would have them at WoD there, too, although they would be full price. ::yes:: )

Today is going to be a very busy day.
This morning I am helping out at Stephanie's school. The PTO puts on this huge Thanksgiving feast every year for the kids. I was unable to help last year, but I can this year. Stephanie is so excited about me being there.
Then I have to finish my Thanksgiving grocery shopping after that.
Then I have to have Stephanie do all her homework because she has CCD.
Then after I bring Stephanie home from CCD I have my last training class.
Busy, busy, busy - but that's okay - I don't mind :)

macraven - I"m sorry you haven't heard from your son yet :guilty: I'm still keeping you and him in my prayers.

geffric - :wave2:

disneymama - :wave2:

Rosemarie - How are the kids feeling today?
*That project sounds like a lot of work. But I bet it was really great when it was all done. :thumbsup2

Leigh - I'm sorry you didn't get your costume :guilty:

Sam - 5 more days!!!! I bet Megan is so excited!!! :Pinkbounc

bigben - Kevin (my DH) had kidney stones too. He was miserable!!!! :guilty:

Jedi - I'm not sure about attending this Meet. I can't go on the 17th (in-laws family X-Mas with Aunts and Uncles) and I'm not sure yet about the 2nd. We have so much going on that month, it makes my head spin. I will look into it and get back to you :)

Donna - I'm glad you and Mark had a great time downtown this past weekend :)
*Thanks for the kind words :)

Debbie - I'm sorry about the Thanksgiving confusion :guilty: I hope it all works out for you.
*I haven't seen the X-Mas trees at the Museaum of Science and Industry since I was a kid. I need to take my girls to see that.

HERSEY - :wave2:

Stitchfans Jr. - Hi kiddo!!!! :wave2: Tell you mom to get over here and say Hi :p Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Bunchkin - I forget so many things too ::yes:: I swear that when each child was born, they took some of my brain cells with them :lmao:

Tiggerrnn - I'm sorry you have to work on Thanksgiving :guilty: I will keep you in my thoughts.

Well, I gotta run and get ready to serve a bunch of kids turket and all the trimmings - have a good day today everyone!!!

Hello everyone!!

Lauren is home from school today. She got sick in the middle of the night. And then again this morning. I'm not sure if it's her *extremely* sensitive stomach OR if she has a cold bug or something. :confused3
Anyway, she is home and will have to come along with Hunter and I on all our errands to day.
Hunter needs his haircut. The kids are getting their pictures taken on Sat. And then we need to go to the ortho doctor to have his arm x-rayed to see how it is mending so far. AND I still haven't found anything for the kids to wear in their pictures!!! I'm beginning to think I'm WAY too picky of a person.
Actually, I was thinking of cancelling the photo shoot because of Hunter's broken arm, but then I thought who cares if the cast is in the pictures. It'll be a part of his history for all to see and remember. :teeth:

slo Have lots of fun at the school today!! :) You sound very busy as well!! ::yes::

I forgot to answer your question about the American Girl Samantha doll. Lauren does have her. We have brushed her hair into the style it came with. We haven't removed the partial ponytail she has. Same thing for her Molly doll. She came in braided pig tails and we haven't removed them either. I tend to get picky about the historical doll's hair. I like them to stay the way they came.
But for her Today dolls we aren't as picky and style their hair different ways. It easy to take care of. Just remember to start brushing at the bottom half of the hair first, to get out the knots. And then brush the top. Did you get the brush kit for the doll??
Stephanie is just going to love her!! And all the extras you got her too!! :thumbsup2
I just finished Christmas shopping for Lauren yesterday on AG's web site. They had a free shipping email they sent me!! :thumbsup2
I got her Molly's friend Emily and her accesories. And the new stage set and chairs and accesories for Molly and Emily. Along with the new Molly movie DVD which will come out of 11-28. She's going to be soooo excited! :cool1:

Don't forget the new AG Molly movie is on the Disney Channel this coming Sunday at 7pm our time!!!

SamIAm 5 MORE DAYS!!!! :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:
Don't forget my Mickey head ornaments!! :thumbsup2 :cheer2:

I really have to run for now!!!
Have a great day everyone!!! :wave2:

OK...that just cracked me up completely!!!! :lmao: :lmao: Ahh...just give her an epidural and she won't beat you up then. I had one with my 4th and thought "what the heck was wrong with me...I should have done this for all of them" :rotfl: I was only a bad patient with one baby and that was baby #3 because I was told I couldn't push....I was definitely ready to beat the tar out of someone for that...mostly the doctor for breaking my water to hurry things along without realizing as soon as she did that I was going to need to push NOW and then told no you can't....what the HEY! I was so not a happy person.

Bunchkin, tell Lauren I hope she feels better. Nothing worse than a woozy stomach.

I wish we could see that Molly and I hope they play it again. We'll be in WDW when it airs! Oh darn.... :teeth:

I haven't forgotten your Mickey heads. I'm already planning on having them sent home from WDW because I'm sure they'll be very FRAGILE (Christmas Story) and I know they won't make it through the luggage and I don't think I can carry them without banging them up some, so I'm sure I can get them home safer if they are packed up really well and sent home. I know they do a lot of "sending" down there.

Hersey, I know what you mean. When you are having a baby, you know you don't want to die and you can't die now because you have a baby to see and raise. However, with the kidney stone, you think, alrighty, I'm ready to go!! Kill me now! But, you get really good drugs that they can't give you in labor. I went to St. Joe's in Joliet for my stone and they wouldn't give me meds until they did a quick preggo test on me. Those Catholics won't let you mess with no "possible" baby!! :teeth: I told the nurse, if I'm pregnant, you better go tell my DH because if the stone doesn't kill me, he will!! :p
