Good Tuesday morning everyone!!!

With the boards down this morning was unable to catch up I only have a few seconds now because I have to take Katie to her first day back at daycare. Stephanie is already gone to her first day back at school

Today I have my appointment for that biopsy. I gotta tell you all, I'm nervous about what the results are going to show. I wish I could get results instantly, but that is unrealistic.

I will try to catch up later. Until then

Slo.....Good luck with the biopsy. Glad you are catching whatever it is early and getting it OUT! Your girls thank you. I know what you mean about not being thrilled with them going to school. I like the quiet time, but miss them too.

DMMichelle --- I forgot you are relatively new to Rockford! Plus....I think Jewel changed it's name to Magna or visa versa sometime in there too. It was longer than two years ago that they/it went out of business though. I wouldn't leave to drive West either if I were you!

SamIAm...sometimes (especially when it's teenagers) the police will come out and scare them by telling them they've had "numerous complaints" and they will be "under surveillance", etc. Call the commanding officer at your police station and ask them what to do. One house can destroy a whole neighborhood -- hate it. We are right downtown, so have really honed our survival skills.

Both my kids have dentist appts today. College DS started today - high school DS starts Thursday. Summer is over?

SamIam21 -- I'm sorry you are having to deal with this, we sort of did too but we fixed it with a locked gate to the front of the street. We don't have a fence though but we have this gate that is connected to both neighbors (the people who lived here before us must of had some sort of arrangement as it's kind of weird). When we moved in, we couldn't figure out why it was locked all the time. We had kids cut through our yards all the time. I didn't really mind it so much because the house I grew up in was sort of a pathway too. Especially in the summer if they were just going to their friends house or something. I have been known to be on the street behind us & cut through to our house instead of walking ALL the way back around, that I didn't mind. Although the kids on their bikes were ruining the yard. It wasn't until I sat there one day and counting something like 10 - 12 high schoolers cut through our yard after the bus let out that I said "ENOUGH" and locked it back. I knew for a fact that those kids were not on their correct bus if they were being dropped off on our street & cutting through the yard to get to the street behind us. They had apparently been cutting through in the morning too to get to the bus stop. It's one thing to just cut through to go to your friend's house every once in a while rather than to get to a different bus. They moved the bus stop now though.

Today DD gets to go to the library for a teen auction/pizza party for the summer reading program. I'm just dropping her off/picking her up. I'm kind of nervous with just dropping off & picking up, first time other than her sports activities that I'm doing it. Although, I have my spy -- my son's friends mom works at the library but I'm not sure if she is working today or not. I shouldn't be too worried, my DD *loves* the library and could spend hours & hours & hours there grabbing more & more books. We were there yesterday to drop off some books that were due & get her last few points of books she read & she took out 18 books. She will have all of those read within a week though. It will be interesting to see if she gets the 1 item she wants "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" DVD. Otherwise there really isn't anything she wants. They have HS Musical DVD too but she already has that. It will just be a good chance to see people from school & hey free pizza can't beat that.

Tomorrow we get to set up DD's locker at school so that will be interesting. I can't wait. She's going to a brand new school they built and it will be the first time almost everyone has been in it. I'm curious to see how the lay-out is and how it will all work (see if we actually know anyone in the school since *everyone* I talk to is going to the old one -- of course, everyone they talk to seems to be going to the new one, apparently we aren't talking to the same people. ). Plus, she gets her gym uniform and I'm wondering if the shorts are going to fit or fall off.

You don't know how true this is. My mom was the lunch lady when I was in high school. OMG!! She knew about every party going on before i did
All my friends loved her, though. To this day, all the kids still call her Ma.

The biopsy went well. It was a little painful, but I can handle pain well. I go back and see the doctor on Sept. 7th to get the results. I'll definitly let you all know what they are when I get them.

Stephanie's first day at school went well . She loves her new teacher and has already befriended a new girl to the school.

Katie's first day also went well. Her teacher said she had alot of fun and never shed a tear - thank goodness!!!!

Now I'm sitting here about ready to study a little bit. The doctor told me to take it easy, which I have no problem doing. I just wish I could do it in the pool, but unfortunately, the doctor said I'm not allowed to go in

slo, i have you in my prayers on the biopsie results. you are going to be fine.

i was reading back and saw some of the postings on the GAC.
i get the card each time i do disney and always take the past one with me.
you do not need a doctors note to get it. you explain the situation and they issue the card with notations of usage to clarify it for the cm at the ride or attraction.
i presented a letter from my neurologist 5 years ago and they have mine on file. i have specific conditions listed on my gac. this way, they can check out the refence number i have and each trip my gac is the same but updated.

with your foot surgery, you will not have any problem getting the gac bunchkin.
i have not been to the motherland since last october but then and the years past, the gac is restricted to the holder plus up to 5 guests. if you have more in your traveling party, they have to use the regular lines.


i see all the fun happening on the pop threads that michelle has been keeping up on. makes me wish i was over there also. i'll be at the all stars for 10 nights on my trip.

i sure do hope to see a lot of the chicago homies at disney.
i saw antss is doing the maelstrom meet on oct 2. be sure to let me know who you are so i can greet you.

okay we spent the afternoon coloring with markers and now i am noticing that we are all covered in marker streaks everywhere!! how does this happen?????? i think it's b/c we were doing it on the giant floor pad and when we rested out arms on the paper we got INKEd and Gabriel is colored in green and red b/c Autumn thought that would be a good idea sooo now i have dinner partially done and am debating on doing baths now or after dinner??? then it came to me




Sal can do them after dinner great answer!

I just got a message from England. I have things to do. I still have to label Alex's school stuff. He starts tomorrow. I still am doing laundry that I didn't do this weekend. I took tomorrow off so I can see the insides of my closets. I think I remember it had walls and a floor but I'm not sure.

Hi all- quick stop by-
The kids got their haircuts this morning. We also dropped by school to drop off some paperwork to the school nurse. Picked up lunch at McD's!
Got their backpacks ready and labeled their lunchboxes. Matthew is working on his summer math packet right now. He has been working on it a little here and there during the summer.
Got a call today that Chrissy's ped. cardiologist wants her to have the heart MRI at Children's Memorial. The holtor monitor results are very good, just the doc wants a baseline MRI of her heart . I was hoping to avoid the whole MRI thing, but the doc still wants the test. I guess the doctor had ordered heart MRIs for some other heart children, also. Don't know when we will be scheduling the test b/c Children's is supposed to call me to schedule it. I've been hearing that the heart radiology dept is behind in scheduling this routine test. I will let you all know when it gets scheduled, but I'm not going to worry about it now


Slo- glad the biopsy didn't hurt too bad. Best wishes on the results I'm sure it will all work out.
Glad Steph had a great first day of school! And Katie had a great day at daycare!

Stitchfans- Happy to hear about your new school job!
Glad you got the school you wanted! So, the other woman didin't pass her background check?? What did she do??

SamIAm- Sorry to hear about the HS kids not respecting you and your lawn . Not liking what that one parent said, that he can't control his kid. At least the dad should tell the kid to respect your wishes of not walking on the lawn. Hope the situation can be resolved.
