It would be nice if *someone* would find one from me! I have never had any of my bottles found! I even sent out ones that were more intriguing that "hi, where ya from?"
Maybe they required too much thought so disappeared.
Wouldn't it make more sense to go Algebra I then Algebra II with skipping that Geometry nonsense. It didn't make sense to me over 20 years ago when I had to take it back then & passed Geometry by the skin of my teeth (got a D but I worked HARD for that D!
), I only took the class because I wanted to take "College Alegbra" in HS which I aced. We were looking at the HS classes here (yes my DD is only going into 7th grade, she's weird she wanted to look) -- sure enough Alegbra II prequisite was Geometry here just like it was way back when, Geometry's requirement was Algebra I. One of those "WHY?" there must be some logical reason if it is still being done that way but all I know is I loved Algebra stunk at Geometry. I put a shorter version of this on one of my bottles.

I do remember it was the same for me in HS as well. What I'm thinking is that algebra II has a little of the geometry in it ?Becky2005 said:Oh well....anyone here know my burning question of WHY do they make you take Algebra I, then Geometry, THEN Algebra II in High School.Wouldn't it make more sense to go Algebra I then Algebra II with skipping that Geometry nonsense. I know Trigenometry(sp) has the Sin, Cosin, Tangent stuff ,which some of that has the geometry (angles) in? It's been a LONG time for me with the math, too. Maybe some of our Chicago Disers that have a high schooler and /or college age can help with that question
