Don't worry about the extra eating. Do you think maybe you needed more calories because of all of the exercising you are doing?? I'm just wondering. And muscle takes more calories to keep around.

Get some rest. You don't want to get sick again.

And good going on your lent challenge. I am staying away from diet sodas and I think I am going to faint! :teeth: :crazy: Now with being pregnant, when I do add diet sodas back in, they are going to be sweetened with splenda. It's a move I've wanted to make for a long time anyway. But I will still be pushing the water. I can always use more of that.

Rachel says Hi back :wave: She was excited when I told her my buddy is going to have a baby! She and DH don't question the people on the boards but I do think they both feel I spend too much time here LOL. Rachel actually has an email pal from the DIS boards! The other girl's family will be cruising when we do in Nov. and her DISer father was wondering if anyone else was going on the Thanksgiving cruise with a DD that would like to be email buddys with his DD to get to know each other before the cruise, so we got our DDs emailing each other. Rachel is really EXCITED about going on the cruise because she already has a friend to hang out with!

This lenten challenge has really been a challenge ;) I'm not addicted to the caffeine in the coffee I just really like the way it tastes when I add the sf flavored DaVinci syrup and some cream and I'm really missing it :crazy: I'm glad your doing so good with your diet soda challenge and that your'e planning on drinking diet sodas with splenda when you do start again!

I did make today a rest day from exercise. It does seem like I am definitely more hungry a few hours after I exercise but I keep telling myself I shouldn't be eating more just because I exercised if I'm ever going to loose weight.

Breakfast 2 eggs, Canadian bacon, cheese, vitamin drink

Snack Hard boiled eggg with mayo

Lunch Tuna salad, brocolli mixed with Laughing Cow cheese

Snack Vitamin drink mixed with low carb protein drink, string cheese

Dinner Taco salad and low carb tortilla chips

That is great about Rachel. WOW! That is the neatest thing about her email friend. How cool. I BET she is excited about the cruise. I would be too.

Cheryl, you are doing so well with all your exercise, your great menus, and drinking nothing but water & healthy drinks! I'm glad that nasty cold has left!!

What a great idea for your DD to have an email buddy that she'll get to meet on your cruise! Maybe you should email the cruise line and ask if they'll seat the two families together at dinner?

I've not been doing too good about my journaling and my sticking to plan with my eating again :mad: . Wed. night was my friends moms funeral and ever since the supper after that when I had a brownie I have gone off plan a bit again. Now I am thinking tonight is my families big Easter celebration and Monday is DH's birthday so I am going to try and stick to as low carb as possible over the next few days but if I do some more indulging I am not going to beat myself up over it. Then I am very seriously thinking about starting induction again by the end of next week. I am hoping that that would get me kick started again and I think I really need that if I am going to make the Mother's Day challenge and loose the weight I want to loose by the time we go to Hilton Head in June. I am up a few pounds again but my clothes actually fit me a bit better so I think all the exercise is definitely toning me up :D but I still really want to loose some more weight.

Exercise for April 7, 2004 Treadmill 41 min., 2.51 miles, 218 cal and did Upper Body of FIRM Body Sculpt and Abs of FIRM Super Body Sculpt (lower body got enough of a workout on treadmill ;) )
