Except for a little arthritis, you would never know that anything happened to her. She is not only eating her own food, including the "dietary enhancements" to put weight on, but she is eating Annie's hard food too. In fact, she walks right over to Annie's bowl and steals it while Annie looks on helplessly. It doesn't matter to Chelsea that Annie out weighs her by 61 pounds. This experience has taught me two lessons; even if your groomer, or someone else you have entrusted your pet to, has known you and your dog for years, always be on the alert. The second, and its a HUGE lesson, is no matter how bad your dog looks, and that was brain injury with nystagmus, spinal cord injury, paralysis and no matter how hopeless the situation appears at the outset, do not make any irreversible decisions for at least 24 hours. We had glimmers of hope after 24 hours and she has progressively improved. I have to say, I didn't think I would ever see her run again. I never thought she would jump up the three steps to get into the house again, but she did. Thanks for all your support. Just want you to know that this story has had a great ending. Tomorrow she starts on her Enacard for her heart murmur.
That's great!!!
Silly me... I saw the thread title and thought it was a Clintonian political post
