My family and I are going to Disney on October. And we have reservations at Chef Mickey's for ,dinner and we are also celebrating birthday's. and I was wondering how much does a dinner at chef mickey's cost?

According to allears and wdwinfo the price for the dinner buffet at Chef Mickey's is 34.07$ for adults and 17.03$ for children (ages 3-9)

(allears also states there may be seasonal pricing, which translates to 38.33$ Adults and 19.16$ Child, not sure of the dates though this corresponds too..)

But remember, that's just what people have reported... it could have changed since then, but I would use that as a good budgeting tool, probably wouldn't have changed more than a couple of dollars.

I don't think that includes tax though, but I'm not 100% sure...

Pricing as of last week was:

Adults: $31.99 + tax
Child: $15.99 + tax

Enjoy. We thought it was great!!

Not a fan of the food or interaction. We went last week and didnt like the food - choice or taste. The characters were not good compared to Garden Grill....but
- cool atmosphere
- daughter liked it a lot

Thanks for all the info.. I hope it's reasonable.. At least now I have an idea of what it will cost

We went to Chef Mickey's for dinner last month and we loved it. I was nervous about eating dinner there because of all the negative reports about it. But, we all enjoyed it. We were a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids), and everyone enjoyed their food. Remember to always take negative reviews (or positive ones, for that matter) with a grain of salt. There was a guy behind me in the buffet line at Chef Mickey's who asked me if I knew if there were french fries on the buffet. There weren't (this was my second time up at the buffet, and I checked all the areas in the beginning to see all that they had and what I wanted). When I told him I didn't see any fries on the buffet, he said "this is the owrst Disney restaurant...how does a restaurant not serve fries?" I could just picture this guy writing a review of Chef Mickey's here on the DIS. Would read something like..."The food was inedible and there was nothing there for me to eat."

So, as I said, while it's good to value others' opinions, always make your own decision and take comments and reviews with a grain of salt.

We also ate at Chef Mickey's about 10 days ago and out of all the character meals/TS meals we had on our vacation, this was by far the worst. We have eaten here before for both breakfast and dinner and this time for dinner was very disappointing. The food was just so, so, not as much variety as other buffets, and the character interaction was horrible. The characters rushed through our table, and everybody else's, and spent maybe 15 -30 seconds at each table. The last character to go by, Pluto, my DS's had waited a long time to see and were very excited watching him move close to our table. Then, POOF, like magic he was gone after visiting the table next to ours never to be seen again. I spoke with the hostess about the problem and she just shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. Other people in our section were disappointed also. It also took forever to get our check and we were almost ready to leave when it finally came. I felt like not leaving a tip, but the issues were not the waitress' fault (except maybe the check). We won't be making ressies here again anytime soon. :cool2: Hope you have better luck.

We went in May for my sons birthday. Our waitress timed it for my son to have his bday cupcake when Mickey was at our table!! He was sooo excited!!

this is not my favorite place to eat, but I love the atomsphere and the characters!! We get the best family pictures there, and we dont have to wait in any lines!! :)

We have lunch there in 3 weeks. (it is one of our "must" do restaurants!)

Thank you all.. I guess everyone has to have an opinion there will always be pro's and cons anywhere so I hope we luck out .
