Chef Mickey's Or Cape May

The last time we went to WDW we really liked Chef Mickey. Is Cape May better than Chef Mickey or which one would you recommend?

Totally different menu for dinner (cape may is seafood) and no characters. Now if it's breakfast I can't help you.

As the OP noted they are totally different for dinner. However, for breakfast the food is pretty much the same. You will not see Mickey at Cape May. That is hosted by Minnie and he is not there. If I had to choose between the two I would choose Chef Mickeys. HTH

I'd eat at Denny's before I returned to CM's. That being said, breakfast at CMC is good and plentiful with lots of character interaction with Goofy and Chip & Dale. Minnie usually does greetings. As rcraw45425 mentioned, there are no characters at dinner but the food is yummy! Mussels and clams are excellent and the PYO shrimp is good too. The ribs get an honorable mention. Skip Chef Mickey's loud atmosphere and I-4 strip mall buffet at all costs!
