We have early PS for Chef Mickey's (7:05). We will have a car so we can drive there, but we can't leave our car there. Our plan is to leave CM and go straight to MK.

Right now it looks like we'll have to leave the contemporary and drive back to our hotel (hilton) and then either catch a bus in the marketplace or take the hotel shuttle to mk.

We aren't sure if there is a better way to do this at that time of the morning, we don't know of a bus that could get us there, but we would rather leave the car parked at the hotel and find a way to CM then just take the monorail over to MK.

Any suggestions?????

Taxi? Taxi to CR, eat, then walk to MK.

Guessing ~$20-25.

I would probably move my car to MK parking after breakfast (or valet at Contemporary for the day if that is still an option). It would be the same or cheaper than a taxi.

Depending on when MK opens, you might be able to park at the TTC and then take the monorail to the Contemporary.

Otherwise, you can valet ($15 plus tip) all day or move your car after breakfast to the TTC.

I don't think the DTD buses are running that early in the morning. If you don't want to drive, then a taxi is probably your best bet.

Drive to Contemporary, valet park there $15 plus a couple of bucks tip dropping off and picking up.
You can then leave your car there for the entire day, after Breakfast walk to to MK, it will be faster than taking the monorail.

Thanks, we'll try it and see. Every time we have tried to do that previously, they didn't allow us to leave it more than 2 hours............can't hurt to ask:confused3

I've ALWAYS left my car at the contemporary, the polonesian, or the Grand Floridian after breakfast reservations. I've never asked, and I've never had a problem either. You can catch the monorail or walk the path to the main gate.

Make sure you Valet, not just "leave your car". There's a 2 hour limit for self-parking for non resort folks. There's no limit for valet.

Since you are staying offsite, you would be paying to park anyway. So, drive to the CR, valet park your car, and you're good to go for the entire day. Just walk over to the MK after breakfast.
Or drive to breakfast and then move the car to the TTC, and monorail or ferry back to the MK. But, that is time consuming. Paying to valet park is a much better idea.

I think we'll do that................we could save the parking if we went back to the hotel and took their shuttle, but again..............the time may be worth the valet charge.

I think valet is running about $15 now, plus a tip. If you were to go back to your hotel, you would spend about 20 mins or so. Then, you would have to wait for their shuttle...and most offsite hotels/resorts don't have very frequent shuttle service to the parks. And the shuttle would drop you at the TTC in any event...leaving you to ferry or monorail to the mk. This method would take you close to 2 hrs (I am thinking anyway). Much better to pay to valet and just walk over to the MK....less than 10 mins from the CR.

I agree. If they will let me valet all day.........that is the best option! Thanks!
