Anyone had a ressie this late. I love the idea of a breakfast lunch-but will we feel rushed? Will the food be fresh? Will the characters still take their time?

We did that on our last trip, it's been a few years. It was great! I was worried about being rushed too but we didn't feel that way at all. The characters came around several times & we got some great pics of them goofing around w/the kids. Much less rushed than when we did an early breakfast ressie. That wasn't really rushed either but the characters were definitely on more of a schedule.

We had a late breakfast seating at 'Ohana, and it was great! Everyone had rushed out to the parks and we were left almost alone with all the characters, because it was late in our trip and we weren't in a hurry to get anywhere.

The two times we've had ADRs there that late, we've really enjoyed it. Towards the end of the meal, hardly no one is there, so the characters keep coming around and around. Only one food item (breakfast potatoes) wasn't hot or even warm. Rest of the food was excellent. Best time to go, IMO. Have fun! :goodvibes

I think the last seating at CM's is 11am :confused3 If you are going for the food with the characters being a bonus it would be better for you to go to Ohana. CM's is not known for the food.

The later seatings tend to get you better character interaction because most people are leaving. We had a 10:30 seating at CM's and the food was fine, they replenished everything that was empty.

We have done this at both 1900 PF and CP and I will say that both times I have felt rushed. At CP, it seems like they switch over to lunch (we couldn't even get omelettes) and they encourage you not to stay and linger over your meal. At 1900 PF, the character interaction was fantastic and we got tons of pics. However, the waitress really wanted us out and made it very clear by standing near our table staring at us. My kids are not early breakfast people so later is usually better for us. We try to hit MK at opening and then have breakfast at CP after a couple hours. It works better for us, otherwise it is a huge waste of money. You just have to not feel intimidated by the wait staff. I don't know if they change staff after each meal at the restaurants but if they want to go home maybe that is why they are rushing people. I would still do it, it works best for us.

Generally, the last Chef Mickey's ADR I've ever heard of is somewhere in the 11:20-11:25 time range, so 11:30 is possible. Ohana doesn't have ADRs for after 11am.

OP, if the food is a concern, personally I think you're better off at CM's. With it being a buffet, you have a lot more choices than you would at Ohana (family style, all you can eat). I've heard great things about Ohana, but I prefer variety at breakfast so Chef Mickey's is better for me.

We have had an 11:20 a.m. ADR twice and loved it! Food was still plentiful and fresh, crowds were low and character interaction was great!!
