Chef Mickey's and parking

Chef Mickey's is a must for us. Our daughter LOVES it. This is the first year we will stay offsite (because it is free) and we were wondering where to park? Is there a parking lot for diners at the hotel or do you park at Magic Kingdom parking lot? Our intent is Chef Mickeys for breakfast and then the rest of the morning at MK. What is the easiest way? Going in Feb...

You can park at the Contemporary for your breakfast. Since you have a dinng reservation, you will be given a three hour parking pass so you can enjoy your meal. However, after that, you will have to move your car to the Magic Kingdom parking lot.

You can do a couple of things. You can just park in the Magic Kingdom parking lot to begin with and then take the monorail around to the Contemporary. This will save you moving your car. Or, you can park at the Contemporary and then send everyone except the driver of the car over to the Magic Kingdom and then have the driver meet up with everyone else after the car is moved.

But in any case, you cannot leave your car at the Contemporary after you finish your meal.

The PP is correct. I would just park in MK lot and monorail it over to CR. The CR parking lot gets very crowded.

Especially since the construction at the CR has cut down on the parking, it would really be the best idea just to park in the MK lot. You didn't say when you were going, but I know at high capacity times they were telling people with reservations to go to the MK lot when they arrived at the hotel.

I agree that if your planning on visiting the Magic Kingdom right after Chef Mickey's, it's best to park at the TTC and take the Resort Monorail over to the Contemporary.
