Chef Mickey Picture

I see alot of people have pictures from Chef Mickey in front of a plate. Is that a package deal or can you have it put on a Photopass Card???

I know it is package deal but we didn't ask about Photopass. My guess would be no...

I do believe it is only a package. When went last month and nobody asked us
about photopass and I don't recall seeing the scanner.

It is a package that they try and sell to you while you eat. It's a tradition for us to buy it every year. It's a pretty good deal. I think it was $26 last time and it came with two 5x7 and 6 wallets with 2 of the wallets coming in either one magnetic frame and one keychain or two frames or two keychains. It's changed each time we bought it.

Anyway, once you buy it, then they will give you a code that will give you the ability to add it to your Photopass account and/or CD if you buy it but you must buy the package first.

I am sorry, but I don't know what you are talking about. We are eating at Chef Micky's for my sons birthday. Do they take the picture at your table or before you eat ?? It would be a great way for him to remember celebrating his birthday at Disney World. Can anyone post their picture ??

I don't have the picture scanned. If I can't I'll scan one later and post it.

It's a photo they take before you are seated. You stand in front of a plate.

Later they come around with the photo to see if you want to buy it.

It's a really cute photo. We get it every time.
We've got all of them framed & hung in the hallway off of our Disney-themed family room.
We've got about 6 or 7 so far.

**Our family always wears matching Disney shirts to CM.
It looks great in the pictures!!

Thanks for the great information. I love to see other peoples Disney photos. I think this will be a great way for my son to remember celebrating his birthday at Disney.

Since my family and I stay at the Contemporary and have not had dinner at Chef Mickey's the past few years because we think the dinner buffet has gone down a little, we went in the afternoon when they were closed and took our own pictures with our own digital camera in front of the huge plate.

The official photographer always lets my Mom take one of just the kids w/ her camera after they take one of the family. Once (when the photographer was really nice) they even took a photo of the whole family w/ our camera.

Just wanted to let you know that you can also buy JUST the magnets or keychains (maybe some other smaller combo too even) for about $12-15. We don't buy the big package anymore but instead just get the set of 2 magnets plus it comes with a few extra wallet size pictures for no more than $15.

Much cheaper and we aren't wasting pictures because a lot of times with the large packages, we just don't use all that they give you.

Now we have a nice collection of Chef Mickey's magnets on our refrigerator as well on my parent's. LOL HTH
