Hi everyone -

We did Chef Mickey 2 years ago, and want a character breakfast with the "gang" so I'm wondering - should we try Donald's Safari? I cant figure out from the reviews - it seems so mixed! help!!!

Donald's Safari is our favorite character breakfast. We really enjoy the food there.

We love Chef Mickeys - this is a "must do" for us. We enjoy the fun/open atmosphere with occasional monorail passing by overhead, the buffet is pretty good and we have good character interaction with the Fab 5. We don't really care for Tusker House - the character interaction has always been poor - very rushed. We also didn't care for the atmosphere - noisy & cramped seating. We've pretty much given up on Tusker House after 3 tries.

We had breakfast at both in August. No question that the better food and atmosphere were at Tusker House. So we had breakfast again at Tusker House in December and enjoyed it. Well be back this July/August and are going back to Tusker House. But no more Chef Mickey's for us.

For us, Tusker House is a must. We did both last year on our trip and preferred Tusker by a long shot!

I say CM Yumm and fun and DH says Donalds he likes it better!:goodvibes

We do both every year and they are both fun. The food at Tusker House Donalds Safari is better.

I agree with this 100%.

Another vote for Tusker House. :thumbsup2 We really felt that the characer interaction at CM had gone down quite a bit our last visit, and the food for us was never the reason to go there. Tusker House had both. Characters were great and to top it off the breakfast food was wonderful, the juice is to die for. :goodvibes Make an early ressie though, they get really crowded at TH and the waiting area is outside.

I love these boards. :) Thanks for the awesome input! I think we are going to try Tusker House! Does it have Pluto or Goofy there? Just curious!!!!

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Daisy. Donald is outside for pictures. He doesn't come to the tables. :)

You guys are awesome.

Ok - so we are thinking of getting a 10am breakfast because the night before will be our first night at Magic Kingdom, so I have a feeling we will be up really late and with a 3 and a half year old - she will want to sleep in a bit.

Is the 10am time a good time?!?!! (we are going in May)

Thanks again!!

We really loved having an early reservation because we got into the park way before it opened. It always seems to be the busiest park so we like to go in early (8:00ish) to eat and then head to the big rides first before the crowds swell.

We MUCH prefer the breakfast (and lunch and dinner for that matter) at Tukser House to Chef Mickeys. Chef Mickey's is on our "not to do again" list. Tusker House is really a favorite in terms of food, atmosphere, and character interaction.

Does Donald's brkfst have pancakes, waffles, or french toast? :confused3 The sample menu at Allears didn't mention any of these.

I am trying to find the price for the Donald Safari Breakfast and I can't seem to find it.

Does anyone know the price for adults/kids?
