Cape May is great, but does not have characters at dinner, only at brft. Dinner there is a "clam bake" style buffet. So of those two, you would need to do Chef Mickey's dinner for characters. However, if you don't have reservations yet, they will be very hard to get, as many people have reserved at 180 days, and Chef Mickey's is always a top choice, plus holiday meals go quickly. You can go on the Disney dining page, out in the date and a time for dinner, and can see what is available right now, and be flexible with times. You can also look at lunch time meals. There is a Nov. Cancellation thread as well where you can look to coordinate if someone is cancelling one you want. Are you planning to not be in a park that day since they are both resort meals? Give some more info. and we can give advice to try and help!
