I've been to Chef Mickey's for breakfast, which was good. I'm thinking about going there for dinner this next trip, but didn't know if they have a lot of vegie food, would make something special with advanced notice (ie, I noticed pasta with some kind of meat on a menu for CM--would they make some without meat?).

Have any of you veg heads gone there for dinner? What did you think?

We have had the best experiences with CM and veggie food. I have been there 3 times and each time called the restaurant and spoke to the chef. He asked me our likes and dislikes and gave me his name. When signing in at the podium you are to let them know that you spoke to the chef. The last time we were there the Chef came out like 5 times to make sure we were enjoying our veggie meal, pasta with fresh asparagus and portabello mushrooms and I think it was feta cheese or goat cheese. The presentation was unreal.

Unless you call and have a special meal prepared you are spending alot of money on an enhanced salad bar as thats all you can eat there.

I will keep that in mind and call the restaurant if we end up going there. Thanks! Do you happen to know what is on the kids menu? My son will be happy with pizza and pasta, but would have a hard time at a place like Boma (he's not adventurous and does not like mac and cheese).

Here is a link to the CM menu. Near the bottom it shows what is on the "Kid's Area". Note that a child can have anything on the regular buffet. Also, there is the "do it yourself" dessert bar.

Thanks Cheshire Figment, I had seen the childrens menu before, but didn't know if it was pretty set or if that was just an example and it varied. As long as there is pizza and desserts my son would be happy. Now to decide if it would work better for dinner or breakfast.
