Chef Mickey BOOKED full on Feb 5th?

Now I know about 180 days out, blah, blah, blah...
I just moved our trip for the last time due to awesome DING! (round trip from Indy for 3 $380.00, I was getting scared- but it came through on Christmas Eve! )
Anywho... we will get in to MCO around 12:30pm & I figure to POP around 2:30 -ish. So I was looking to get something early, again hoping my Indianapolis Colts will be in the BIG game that night, so I call WDW dining & want to check out Chef Mickeys for the night.... SHE SAID THEY WERE COMPLETLY BOOKED FOR THE NIGHT! Huh? The first week in Feb? On Sunday Feb 5th? Is there something going on that weekend or week that I don't know about?

Any thoughts?

Don't give up. We were surprised to learn when we checked-in for our Christmas morning breakfast that they were taking WALK INS!!!!! It seems as if more and more people are making ressies and NOT showing up for them.

I think this is going to be the trend in the near future. With the 180 day booking window, I think character dining and the other popular restaurants will be completely booked within 45 days. Just my .02. Of course, there are always going to be cancellations, so just keep trying. Good luck and enjoy!!!

What about Ohana's, Whispering Canyon, or PF1900. And keep caling back people change ADR's all the time. Make it early cause the Colts will be playing!

Ok-
I was freaking out thinking that there was something BIG going on that weekend or week at WDW. Just a matter of others already having all the early ADR's I can certainly understand. But aside from that night I was able to get Le Cellier on 2-6 @ 4pm, CP on 2-7 @ 8:05am, O'hana on 2-8 (party of 5, we are only a party of 3, but will have the Great Grand's with us) @ 5:25pm and Donalds on 2-9 @ 8am... and I got all of these on Monday of this week, so I am a very happy girl for making so many last minute changes. And yes I did cancel ALL of my other ressies for the other week I had planned.
Very relieved nothing noted yet that will be bringing super large crowds, like the Cheerleaders and so on. (But I can't wait until my girl is big enough to cheer @ WDW!)

-- Ok so I was on line with WDW dining while typing... also all the dinner ADR's start @ 5:00pm, except I think 3 places, anyway that would be too late for the night so it turns out not to even be an issue. Maybe try to hit DTD & the Earl before the game. Do you all think ESPN will be very crowded? I am kidding!
