Chef Mickey and Wave Question

We will be staying at BLT in September. I made a reservation for breakfast at Chef Mickeys. I know there are no characters (all adults in our group so that’s fine with us) But are they still offering buffet service? I’m assuming if yes a CM serves from behind the buffet? We usually do the breakfast buffet at the Wave on every trip (it’s DH’s favorite breakfast spot) but I’m assuming it is just menu only service now?

I don't think there are any buffets right now. Chef Mickey's is family style.

We ate at the wave for breakfast last week, even though they didn’t have the buffet. It was still very good & they did have grits (our favorite), even though they’re not listed on the limited menu.

Oh my I do love those Wave grits... best ever! And the sweet potato pancakes!
has anyone tried Chef Mickeys since it reopened? What did you think?

We stayed at BLT Week of July 12th. Our family had a great time. Breakfast at Chef Mickey was great. Breakfast was served family style at your table. The Wave is another story. We had 10 in our group. I had 2 reservation party of 6 & 4. The nite we ate dinner. We waited 1hr 15 minutes before we got our food.. Our 2 groups sat while smaller groups were served their meals. Even guests who came in after us they were served their meals. We also had breakfast next morning. Thought of canceling we decided to give the wave another chance. We ordered our food. It was 20 minutes. We still had no food. Told our waiter Tim finally got results. Needless to say the Wave is off our list of restaurants. Understand with just opening things would be different. All the other places we serve was great!
