We are celebrating DD birthday at Chef Mickey's in two weeks. I called the number that they gave me when I booked the reservation to order a cake. I left a message two days ago and I still haven't heard back. How long should I wait for an answer or should I just keep calling until someone actually answers? Or does the restaurant have cakes you can request when you get there?

Thanks

I have no idea to the answer to your question. But, you may be not getting an answer from them b/c of the weekend. I would at least give them through tomorrow.

We were at Chef Mickey for my husband's birthday. We did not order a cake, but the waitress brought him his own special birthday cupcake. A cake seems like overkill since the dessert bar is just fabulous. I would not pay extra for more dessert.

The cakes are not worth it, IMHO. They are a regular yellow cake with a shortening-based white frosting. Very cheap...I mean plain :teeth:

The pic in my sig shows our youngest on her birthday(Feb 18th) at Crystal Palace. We paid $35 for that cake, which looked nice, but was very poor quality.

Thanks everyone
No call yet today and it is Monday evening. I will try calling them again tomorrow. I have to have a cake for the birthday even if it isn't a great tasting one. But I will make sure we get a small one
