Cheeseburger, no meat please.

Also, none of my kids eat meat on tacos so going to Taco Bell is always a challenge. I've ordered a soft taco with just cheese on it and had them charge me extra! I'm like "no, I'm taking stuff off, not adding things on!" Now I know the proper way to order is "one soft taco, minus meat, minus lettuce" to not get charged extra!

Have you tried the Nacho Cheese Chalupa with no meat? It's yummy!! :thumbsup2

You could just order a cheese quesadilla with no sauce.

The problem with this suggestion and the one below is that my kids don't want the cheese melted - just a handful of shredded cheese on a soft taco shell! Plus side is that it's a pretty easy :thumbsup2 meal to make at home and they take for lunch frequently too since it doesn't have to be hot.

I ordered my Cheeseburger with no meat, no onions today at Burger King. I have to say it wasnt bad, I never had a grilled cheese with pickles on it before. They didnt have a veggie burger on the menu, so in a pinch this will work now.

Do you have Sonic where you live? Sonic has grilled cheese sandwiches on the menu using Texas Toast as the bread. It is soooooo good. I always order it with tomatoes on it.

It's nice to see we aren't the only "odd" family. My DD does not eat meat but loves hamburger/hot dog buns with ketchup and mustard. For years I tried ordering a hamburger without the meat and it was really hit or miss. I've had waitresses agrue with me that they could not do that. How hard is it to not put the meat on the bun? I'm more than happy to pay for the missing meat. I have generally given up, DD just picks the meat off.

I wonder what the lunchroom monitors think when she pulls the hot dog off the bun at lunch time lol. :rotfl2:

I used to do this, back when I didn't eat meat. Half the time they would act like I had 3 heads and I would get the meat on it anyway. :confused3

My daughter (when she was in her teens & a vegetarian) use to order Big Mac's with no hamburger.

Ohh, good idea. I never thought of that!!!!!!!! McDonalds is the only food place around my work and I dont want to live on french fries or salads. That would work in a pinch!

McDonald's french fries aren't vegetarian. :sad2: I avoid french fries in general because of what they're cooked with (chicken nuggets, etc.) but the fries at the fish & chips place at the UK in Epcot are vegetarian and not fried with the fish! :cheer2:

I used to order "a cheeseburger all the way, hold the burger" in high school and college in the 1970s. :sunny:
