Good Morning! I'm getting ready to head off to work for 12 LONGGGG hours. Ugh! I have to keep telling myself, "Beach and Disney. Beach and Disney." Well, it's off to work I go!

Good Morning!

It's going to be a pretty day today. I just wish I weren't back at work. We had a nice Father's Day yesterday. We saw the Rise of the Silver Surfer which I thought was pretty good. Then he watched hours of golf and topped it with a requested meal of hamburgers. I tell you, Father's Day is a piece of cake compared to Mother's Day.

Oh Chickies! Where are you??? This is getting terribly sad. Me talking to myself and all is quite boring. The year anniversary of the Cheeky Chicks is coming up and it would be horrible to let this die before that.

I've been trying to get things ready for vacation . I know it's 25 days before, but yippeeee!!! We're going to the beach! It's been so hot around here, we may as well be baking in the sun by the ocean .

Jordan had his appointment this morning for his ankle. It went good. He is now able to walk without crutches, the wheelchair went back, and he just has to wear a small brace now with his shoes.

We may actually get some rain today. Right now it's thundering, but that doesn't mean anything around here. We had some major thunder, lighting, and wind the other night and didn't get a thing.

I'm glad your vacation is coming up! Those 25 days will fly by. Where I grew up, it would get over 100 degrees for most of the summer and our vacations were always at the beach. Of course, now I live where we used to vacation but I rarely get to the beach and I take beach vacations in different locations. Right now all the residents of this area are whining and complaining about all the tourists, when the majority of us all used to be the tourists.

Oh, they moved the stupid smilies again.

I think i've made a decision to just fly out of Parkersburg when Ethan and I go to Disney. It's only 20 minutes away from the house compared to and hour and a half to Charleston.

Yesterday I went furniture shopping with Kendall (middle DD11). She picked out a new bedroom set. So now we wait 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.


Wendy when I hit the 30 day mark on any vacation I get in my vacation mode. Suitcases come out and I start putting little things in that I know we'll need on vacation but not at home.


Oh, it's Hump Day.........enjoy.

Hey guys! Happy Wednesday!

I'm on Jury Duty standby today. I have to call after 11:30 to see if I have to go in. The good thing is the courthouse is only about 3 blocks away so I can leave my car here at work and walk if I have to. I hope I don't. I hate waiting around.

I'm 40 days from my cruise! I'm not ready to pack yet though.
