Checking into AKL Concierge?

Where do I check into the AKL Concierge, since the Concierge is on the 6 floor with key access, do I go to the main desk in the lobby?

Checking in tomorrow and need info.

When you arrive at the AKL tell the person who is taking your bags that you are staying concierge level and they will direct you

After standing in line at the regular res. desk *sigh* We had lots of great communication with the concierge (not!). The bell services guy was great and explained the savannah and talked about the lodge as we went.

Even though you have the key, I would highly recommend you go immediately to the concierge level and check in with the person at the desk. Just to make sure all is in order.

Enjoy the coffee and I highly recommend the blueberry muffins. I was hooked every morning and am now craving them. Funny. A blueberry muffin. *Shaking head* But that's how I HAD to start my days. *lol*

Hope you do the safari. It's a blast. The resort itself is very peaceful and I can't wait to return. There are maps of the lodge up on the concierge floor that have the lodge activities (story time times and such) printed on the back. I can't remember if the map given at check-in had that info. On the next trip we hope to enjoy the lodge and some of those activites more.

We were told by concierge, that when we drive into the resort to tell the gate keeper that we are staying concierge and we would be met at the door by someone from concierge who would then take up directly up to the lounge.

All check in is done at the concierge lounge. No need to go to the front desk.

I was also told this by Jill from the Concierge staff. This is what we plan on doing when we arrive on Feb 1st.
