Princess Half Marathon Weekend 2026 (Feb 26-Mar 2, 2026)

I may be an overthinker, but I see folks talking flights, resorts, etc. for race weekend. If we arrive on the 25th of Feb, then 60 days prior would be Christmas. Will we have to wait until 26th of Dec to make dining reservations?

It would actually be Dec 27th (because December and January have 31 days.)

This is not overthinking. This is planning!

ok a question from another over planner…say I’m in the last coral during the half and/or finish just right before the balloon ladies, what would be a safe time to make a breakfast reservation? I’m thinking Garden Grill or maybe even splurge on CRT if available. Will probably wait to go back to room AFTER I eat because I can get hangry.

the balloon ladies usually cross the start for the half around 6 am. They have to hit 16 min/mile pace, which means they should be done by 9:30-ish. If you want to do Garden Grill, I’d recommend a 10 am reservation, since you can walk back into Epcot (although check park opening, since I think they might not open until 10). CRT would take longer to get to, obviously, so I’d give it until 10:30 or 11.

Thank you! Exactly what I needed!

Does anyone know of or have any recommendations for charity bibs for the 5k for Princess weekend? My niece has decided that she really wants to try the 5k since it falls on her birthday.

I think the Team Run Dis website has a list of charities with bibs still available

Since we're on the subject of planning ahead, remember to throw some kind of towels and maybe some wet wipes or something in your gear bag, and maybe even a change of clothes, you'll want to be less sweaty before you head into all that air-conditioning 🥶
I’ve got that covered most days usually. I’m like Sophia from The Golden Girls. I’ve got EVERYTHING in my bag 😂😂😂.

Thanks to the great posts and links here … I had uploaded at registration a POT good enough for Corral C, but after seeing the target times, realized I probably could get a POT good enough for Corral B if I pushed myself. I have never once done a race with a time goal in mind so I was super nervous to try. I’ve done decades of marathons and half marathons and 10Ks with the sole goal of finishing and enjoying the race. I even founded a Slow Runners Club in my city because I truly believe the best part of running, is running!

But the allure of a better corral, with more time to enjoy the characters and runDisney experience pushed me out of my comfort zone to test myself. So I entered a local 10K race this morning and got a PB of 59:22…this should be good enough for Corral B, I hope .. but even if not, this little local race has got me SUPER excited for my first runDisney event !!!

Congrats! A sub-60 10K is for sure enough to get into corral B. The runDisney field tends to be slower than most other races as it draws a lot of first-timers and non-runners in general -- especially Princess. If you want to dig into the math, there's a fantastic thread about rD POT and corral seeding, and some handy charts on this thread: https://www.disboards.com/threads/pot-proof-of-time-race-equivalency-cutoff-confirmed-times.3699036/

That’s great - thanks so much for sharing!!

Okay, so I decided to register with a charity. Has anyone run with Rise Against Hunger who can tell me what to expect? I got a confirmation email with the receipt for my initial donation, but it doesn't have any specifics about the bib or race.

I'm guessing the race registration comes later? Do I have to finish fundraising first?

Thanks for any help!

(Disclaimer is that I personally haven't dealt with charity bibs outside of the last-minute ones)

Generally, charities "release" the bib (it'll be a link and you'll complete the rundisney registration page as usual) to the runner once they have completed a certain percentage or all of their fundraising, and that they are likely done in batches by the charity coordinator, and not the instant you hit the fundraising threshold.

It's important to note that if you get your link AFTER the cut-off for POT submissions, if you have one, that you must enter the information for it at that time.

This is very helpful! Thank you. Unfortunately POT is not in the cards for me this year.

I'm excited to be registered. I have been really bummed since not being able to get in during registration.
