Checking in tomorrow, too late to add DP?

We have a one night ressie before we check into our "real" ressie. We have the dining plan for 5 nights. Is it too late to call and add the DP to tomorrow's ressie? We have a ADR for a character breakfast, so we'll be able to use the sit down credit.

I've been told 5 days before arrival but you can try. Keep in mind you will have to purchase a 1 day ticket for everyone in your party. Probably not worth it for a $20 character breakfast

I agree....

I have been quoted 3 days in advance, but they recommend 4 or 5 days...of course, it never hurts to try. Please post if you were able to add the day before. Thanks!

I was told to tell the desk when I check in. Not sure if it matters that I am a DVC member or maybe I was told wrong. I better call to confirm. :thumbsup2

DVC members definitely need to add the plan before but unlike WDW packages, we pay at check in

I believe the issue is that the Dining Plan cannot be added by the hotel, but rather must be added by reservations (or Member Services), and there is a point after which they can no longer change a reservation -- when it is transferred to the hotel. That typically occurs approximately three days prior.
