Checking available rooms online

is it possible to check for room availability online? When I go to the WDW web site and click the box by check availability nothing seems to happen. Does this normally work?

Where on the website are you seeing the "Check Availability"?

If I go to the main page, https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/, input the dates and number of people, then click the "Find Resorts" button, I get a list of hotels with availability. I then click on the listed rate to the right side of a hotel to see what type of room is available for that time frame.

It says "Check Availability" if you are on the special offers page and click on one of the offers like free dining or room only offers. Maybe thats where they are at on the site? But clicking on check availability, a box should pop up for you to enter your dates, number of guests and resort you want to check. Not sure why it wouldn't work. It works for me.

Thanks. I don't know what I was doing wrong but it works for me now.

Thanks again to to tobikaye and tinkerbella16. After just one day of checking I was able to see availability and upgrade my room category to the one I wanted. Yea!
