Check your Southwest flights for this fall - ours was cancelled

We were called yestersay regarding a flight time change. They offered us any flight we wanted that day. I kept my original as it was only a 25 minute difference and they transferred our EBCI.

I'm confused about one thing you posted. If you kept your original flight, why did they have to transfer your EBCI? It sounds like you didn't change your original reservation so they shouldn't need to do anything with your EBCI either.

LisaS...I understand what you are saying, I think . However, when I went in my email it showed that my flight had been modified, points returned, then the exact same points taken out to "reserve" the flight again and that EBCI was transferred with it. I guess it's how their system had to complete the transaction? I was surprised to see this but it was there.

And you are correct, I didn't change anything.

We got a voicemail from SWA on April 24 that our flight was cancelled and they rebooked us on an earlier flight. Its only 40 minutes earlier but it disrupts plans we have that day. NOT HAPPY and the only other flight that would work gets us in after midnight. Not sure what we are going to do yet.
